LVL 79, best place to lvl up some?

LVL 79, best place to lvl up some?

Hello all,

Seems there is table somewhere showing where exp is best gained for the lvls, but Im wondering for my lvl 79 barb, who is in act 4, where my best and safest leveling options are. I was directed towards Tower, but that was at lvl 75 and wonder if that is still best?

At clvl 79, I find that I can still gain levels in late Act 1. But I think the gains will be better in Act 2.

Once a char is that high, experience penalties start to come into effect.

you get that message only becouse your a pal it has something to do with cookies or who knows. i see that others pal get that banned too. ask a mod about. for me is working:grin:

Doh, It's me that suxorz...because of Pal...so I paid to suxorz....FB still suxorz...

As has been said, the Pits, with a bit of Countess every now and then (main goal would be runes, leveling is just the bonus).

By the way, this is not really about this thread, and I don't want to sound rude, but it would be nicer if you ask your questions in your recent, existing threads which are already about the same character and contains similar questions. In other words, post your progress, armor choice questions and playing strategy questions about your DS/WW barb in the same thread. Might even hijack your own thread with questions about, say, a Frenzy barb! The good thing is, you'll have bumped the thread, so you can get comments on previous questions as well, and the forum won't be cluttered too much. Hope you'll take this as a friendly advice that it is.
 
Pits at the highest players level you can handle. Hell, of course.

Why?

It's the best combo of experience and relatively easy monsters and potentially awesome drops.

However, I say relatively easy monsters. At higher players settings cursed archers with bad mods can rip you in half in a moment so don't fool around when you see archers ... or cursed frenzytaur-type monsters for that matter.

You can level to high 80's in Pits alone.

No leechable monsters, which would be bad for melee character.

I'd vote for the Pit if your barb is up to it. I leveled my sorc from 75 to 87 or 88 there just doing /p1 MF runs.
