[L] Can I use my Starcraft CD key for Diablo?

i lost my d2 cd key, so ive been using my friends. But with the reset he wants to start playing again.. so i was wondering, could i use my SC cd key for diablo?

I never tried it but I don't think so..

Impossible AFAIK. I don't think there are any CD-keys that work for other games than the one intended.

They're different in number and digits. Also, d2 cdkey is alphanumerical while starcraft is only numbers iirc.
