It's monday!!

Hihoo I never thought I was going to make a daily ever again, but now I actually have some D2 related stuff to talk about, so here I am... once more!
I hope y'all are having one great day. It's excellent weather here in the big DK (well as good as it gets a cold day in november brrr). I've been at work for just around 2 hours now. I decided to run to work, since my bike is missing its front wheel and I hate busses :fish:

Well I can ramble on, but I'll do that in my OT box instead... hehe!
On D2 info I've started playing my meteorb sorc again. She's in act2 hell now, players 8 is going just fine. My defiance merc isn't having the worst of problems, he's actually doing just fine :scratch: I've only died once, which was to a FE lightning bug in the maggot lair. Didn't even notice the FE before I hit the dust. I'm looking forward to doing some MF runs as soon as I hit Meph.

Yeah, monday. I'm waiting for a tax collector today, had to prepare all those bills during the weekend. Now all is ready and still about 3 hours to go, hehe.

Since I'm having severe problems with my bowazon in hell (due to lack of damage) I'm a bit discouraged to play her right now. I also have a necromancer in act 5 NM, still from 1.09 ... I started him and what the heck ... no chance in NM acts 5 or even 4.... perhaps his skill dristibution coming from 1.09 isn't that good in 1.10, sigh.

Perhaps I'll start something new, a sorceress perhaps. Haven't played one for years, a sorc was my very first D2 char ever.

Well if you're discouraged by the lack of damage provided by bows, I can understand your idea of switching to a sorc. They deal nice damage :thumbsup:

get a bear and learn how to combat cast it effectively ASAP. it WILL save you in hell. combat cast, i mean as soon as you see monster packs hurl the biggest, grizzliest bear you got at them, then as he gets beat on run up, re-cast him if needed then fury

man oh man why do i keep coming back to this game? radament took down my level 20 bash barb after i thought it smart to run up and whack him before he had time to think, litle did i know how quickly i would die when i was frozen and poisoned and surounded by those horrible skeletons. after recovering from the shock i took my amazon out to do act 4 nm. i couldnt beleive how fast she killed stuff, within 30min on players 8 the big d had carked it.

seeing as im not going to be near a computer for the next 2 months i decided to quit while i was ahead so i didnt kill anymore characters so im now playing base ohhhh yeah.

Yoyoyo! It is me! My sorce went up 1 level! (hurrah) last night, to level 82. That was in the pits on players 8. What the hell is with pindle's garden? I just get completely owned by his "oh look, im pretending to be dead" minion guys. How the hell cna they suddenly run so fast?!?

My barb is still where i left him, act 3 normal, wielding soulflay and shadowfang, using frenzy and double swing. I love double swing

Hehe, they charge! And frenzies are nice, continue playing him! :thumbsup:
Tomorrow my holidays are over and I have to go to school again. -.- A math test in the first three lessons and I haven't learnt anyhting... but I can't end this day without d2! :lol: I will pat my hammerdin today, as mfing has become boring and a little senseless (meph cannot drop tal rashas guardianship/adjucation and schaefers hammer :-/). He is already in the crystaline passage in act 5 hell. As he isn't really fun, I will probably retire him after patting to concentrate on my frenzy, which really is the funniest char of me! :thumbsup:
However, holidays over, school again, I think I have to control my addiction to this game: No more playing through nights and more learning for school. :-/

Omg now I understand why it took forevah to keel a fire tower with 15k dam meteors... they have 99% fire resistance.. doh!! :rant:

Plenty of D2 for me this weekend as I tried my hand in the mini MFO. Pits, pits and more pits. I leveled my Sorc by about a full level to 86 and found 7 grail items including my first Gheeds (38%). My best finds were a Dracul's Grasp and The Gladiators Bane (my 3rd).

Trick or Treated with the kids as well. My 2 year old was just too funny and my 5 year is at the age where he just loves all these things (can't wait for Christmas).

leveled my elemental druids to clvl 72 over the weekend nice 4 levels and that makes him able to survive in Hell Act 1 so I will be looking to take him atleast to Andy hopefully I won't get bored with him. Still looking for that ever allusive:
+3 elemental tree club of slvl 7 fissure charges.

That and a:
+3 elemental skills pelt with +3 hurricane, +3 armageddon.

I don't want my build to be too over powered :evil:

I also worked with my firetrapper a bit I thought she was higher in level but after finding a magefist to give her and then see as she was only clvl 17 I decided to play with her for awhile. Still in the jail lvl 1 waypoint with her.

No playing with mastery sorc or my passive amazon this weekend, I think I will be dropping the mastery sorc tourney I have too many other builds going and not enough time for any builds.

Holiday = Lo-o-ots of D2! Fer the fire templar went today through all the act 2 and the act 3 just after the flayer dungeon. Tat is a hell of a lot of playing! He found an IK Maul - it is so great to find stuff while qesting! - but my best find was a gambled ring:

WOW! Synergy for his fireball and FCR was aweesome! Also put up Ormus Robes, and the damage went up, but I expected more. Well, that's OK, I guess. Also, since I was happy with Skins, I lost a lot of resists. Damn! More resist charms! Now my FotH is around 4.1k, and my FB is around 1.2k.

I have some problems with immunities, because conviction breaks them, but the resists are very high, and the monster display stop showing immunities. What is the problem, you ask? I cannot decide quickly between FB mode and FotH mode, I have to memorize every monster's immunities at the site, and remember correctly which one is immune to what, or waste some time using the wrong skill, taking away a sliver of the enemy's life, and wasting battle time, which always may prove fatal. Now imagine a horde of slayers, flayed ones, undead dolls, and shamans, each with a huge resist to something different!

(btw, flayers are immune to lightning, shamans are immune to fire - mental note: FB the masses, then FotH the shamans, then FB the rest, then Redemption corpses, rinse and repeat.)

Now going out with friends. Maybe tomorrow I reach act 4. This upcoming Patriarch is one to be proud of! Now the only piece of equipment from the original design that is waiting is Dragonscale. It requires lvl 80, and I am at 77. I don't have it yet, but I guess it is not really necessary, just a great addition. I wish I'll get one before pat, just to name it after him!
