I'm Confused...

Something REALLY wierd just happened to me. I was gambling for rare amulets and one turns out to be Angelic Halo. I though gambling for sets was disabled in the expantion. Could someone shed some light on this phenomenon?

No it was never removed complety when the expansion. They just lowered the chances so much that you will rarely ever find any sets or uniques from gambling anymore.

The first ring I ever gambled was in fact an Angelic Halo.


So yeah, it happens time and again, but MF running is usually a far better option if you are mainly interested in unique/set items.

I gambled a Cat's Eye ammy a while back.

The only thing I really gamble are Rings, Amulets, and Circlets. You can get some cool stuff from those.

Yeah, in 1.09 the odds of gambling a rare were in fact harder than finding a zod. However, according to the patch notes they have increased the gamble rate in 1.10.
