Ideal Crafting Breakpoints

Hey everyone. I know the preferred crafting items are Nef Runes for Blood Gloves, Ral Runes for Caster Amulets, Tal Runes for Blood Belts, and then Other/Rings and amulets using Sols/Amns.

What are some really good mods to watch out for, and what level do you need to be to optimize getting great mods? Is there a guide somewhere, perhaps? (I did look.)

amulets, lvl93, because of chance to get +2skills. Use a lvl93 char to gamble AND craft so you'll get 90+ ilvl ammies everytime, so every amulet craft has a chance of getting +2skills.

others, no idea.

In general: mods to look out for.

+1 All Skills/+2 All Skills/+2 Tab Skills
+Resistances (Single and All)
+Mana
+Faster Cast Rate
+DEX
+STR
+NRG
+Life
+Life Leech
+Mana Leech
+Min. Damage
+Max. Damage
+Faster Hit Recovery
+Attack Rating
+TP Charges
+Replenish Life
+Faster Run/Walk
+%MF
+%Gold Find

You also want these numbers high, and in conjuction with the chracter. A crafted Amulet along the lines of +2 Sorceress Skills/+3 All Res/+1 Life/+9 Minimum damage will probably get you a nty.

Check out the Arreat Summit (or the german calc...are we allowed to link to that site?) for the affix levels of the mods you're targeting and the formulas for how crafting generates affixes. It's a bit complicated if you're not comfortable with algebra, but you can optimize your chances of a specific affix if you crunch the numbers. One thing to watch out for with high level crafts is insane level requirements. You can get great items that only a lvl 97-99 character can equip, which is useless for most folks. I suppose they'd still have trade value though.
