I have an issue regarding the fireball spell.

So, I am a new diablo player, just started with diablo 2 and planning to move on to diablo 3 once I have completed hell difficulty.

What I want to say is that I am experiencing a bug with the fireball spell (sorceress), that bug is that sometimes the fireball acts like it has piercing, and starts going through several enemies, and damaging them without blowing up.
I just want to ask if anyone has encountered this glitch, this mostly happens on weak enemies.
For further info, I am playing on bnet on ladder.

I don't play on BNet, but I have never heard of a bug with Fireball. Without seeing a video it is difficult to comment, but maybe it is a desync issue? The monsters are graphically in line of fire, but their actual position is not.
