How much mana needed?

Hi, i just bought the tal armour and i'm ready to start a MeteOrb wearing the full set. Might switch to Hoto and Shako, but i'd like to see how the Tal's set is in action first. I have been reading the Meteorb guide, and i'm wondering how much energy i should end up with. I can see that i'll end up around 900 mana with a few charms if i don't invest any points in energy. So my question is wether i need to invest some points in ebergy or not. How much mana will be enough? If i should have more than 900, I'll increase energy until i reach that point. I'm not sure about this, but since this will be a rusher, i got a feeling that i wont need more mana than a super mana potion can fill up. This is because i'll be teleporting a lot, and i can't tele more than the mana pots in my belt can provide anyways.

One more question at the end, i'll be wearing a 35FCR Spirit, and it will be pointless to invest statpoints in dex to get a higher block %, right? Think i already know the answer to this, but i'd like to be sure before i start the char.

Answer #1: Mana problems are easily answered by putting insight on your merc :smile: With the meditation aura you will not run out.

Answer #2: Spirit + max block = not happening. I think spirit's chance to block is somewhere around 40%. Put those valuable pts. in vitality :smile:
 
Sorcs should have no problems with mana. Your Spirit already provides a ton of it, and your Warmth should help you recover pretty quickly. That, combined with a merc with Insight means you can tele around indefinitely.

You'll need an awful lot of dex to get max block with a Spirit so it's not worth it. Spirit is designed for speed, not blocking.
