Highest level Non-Matriarch/Patriarch

Right now I'm playing my latest blizz sorc and I've been doing MF runs for the last few days. I'm level 87 right now and just noticed that I never actually killed hell Baal; making me a level 87 Champion. :cool:

So out of curiosity I'm asking everyone else, what is the highest level you have ever taken a char before actually killing hell Baal?

Ragnarog (former pally mod, SP player) had a pally that he was running to 99 by killing Big D. He was something like clvl 95+ and was not pat'd. As for myself, I've played /p8 the whole way with my latest h'din and got up to the mid 80's

I didn't guardian my Amazon until lvl 90. She's a pindle runner so I was just doing that and then decided to go kill Baal when I was lvl 89. On the way there I hit 90 because of the Ancients. Eventually she'll be a Baal runner for experience but still need a few more items before she's WSK running viable. :thumbsup:
 
My sorc (Flogging_Molly) which I'm hoping to get to 99 is currently level 93 3/4 and I have not killed Hell Baal yet. I've been running Pindle so I just haven't bothered yet.

My current runner in the MFO was designed to be a pit runner from the beginning. I recently pushed her to pindle for some experience and items and the res bonus but she's back in the pits now. She's currently 92 though she should be at least 94 by the end of the week.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever mat/pated a char in the lower 80's, I've either been pushing to finish the char and finished in the 70's or making a runner and usually haven't stopped till around lvl 88.
 
I just Pat'd my Hammerdin last night. Before he killed Baal he was at level 86, mainly because I did most of Acts I-IV on /players 8. I had to drop the players setting in Act V, mainly because of Succubi (in particular, a double boss pack with Cursed and Fanaticism in the Glacial Trail).
 
My blizzsorc is at level 91 3/4 right now, and I have gone as far as the Ancient's Trail. I have not yet mustered the courage to face that Ancients with her, or the WSK yet. So, I have her loaded with MF gear (508 MF so far) and she runs Andy/Tunnels/Pindle.
 
94.5 on my blizzy... Pindle runs for the last ~15 levels.

95 is my goal, so I can gamble some amulets... I've been holding out on the Ancients for that nice 40M experience boost.

I don't think I've yet to kill the ancients, much less Baal with a character below 88. I might have, but it's my general practice to level to 88 before attempting the ancients. More for my merc than for the character.

I know this is pretty off topic, but Flogging molly, IMO, is literally the best band in history, I've seen them twice in concert now, and they were 2 of the best 3 concerts I've ever been to.

In the OT spirit... I have to agree, they are the greatest! I saw them live only once though, but they are hands down the best live band I've ever seen.
