So here I am. About 3-4 weeks into my fresh start and return to diablo 2, with a guardian thread.
This time it is a fishyzon and this is largely due to me finding some 20%ias +1jav gloves, thundergod's and a titan's revenge with my deceased blizzy.
The adventures of Andromeda started out rather quickly. The first few levels are a breeze as an amazon and at lvl 13 I twinked on full sigon's set, which got me through normal with no problems.
I stopped a while at baal in order to get to lvl 47 and be able to equip my titan's/thundergod combo. I also used my larzuk's quest on a whistan's guard, making my resists in the high 50s while allowing max block and high vit.
Given the wealth inherited from my sorc I got through most of NM withouth a sweat only having some semi sticky situations with lightning immune undead flayers.
When i reached act 5 i quickly started running pindle and his boys for levels in order to be able to equip the one harlequin crest that didnt get lost at the event with mephisto. Also sporting an um rune i used my second larzuk on the harlequin and placed said um therein. At this point I was a bit concerned as I had about 10% lightning and cold resists going into Hell. This meant i went for about 40 cow runs after finally finishing baal. I did manage to pick up some resist all rings, but I still was pretty low at lightning resist and was forced to give up all my mana steal.
Even though my resists didnt get any better I went into hell and quickly got to act 4 where i stopped due to finding a Fal rune. I had earlier found a ko rune which i didnt think i was gonna use, but now i started to see visions of obedience wielding mercenaries ripping through everything.
In order to find a good base for the obedience i stared running AT at players 3. And even though i didnt find any polearms with 5os or even the possibility I did find this:

Wow. In all my years of playing d2 ive never seen a legit ber. What do you even use ber in? I looked it up again and started drooling over chains of honor. Seeing that i needed an Um and an Ist I promptly added countess to my runs and added light elite armors to my watchlist.
Now I still couldnt find any bases for my Obedience. Sure I found a few white giant threshers and threshers, but neither wanted to get 5os with the cube recipe. I kept at it for days (my run time was pretty bad so the number of runs each day might be around 10), when the next statistical anomaly occurred:

Weapons: Ignore Target Defense
Helms: Increase Maximum Life 5%
Armor: Increase Maximum Life 5%
Shields: +50 to Life
Required Level: 65
Item Version: 1.10+ Expansion
At this point im not sure if there is something wrong with my game or if 1.13 really is this silly. Considering ive only seen 1 el rune during all this time i wasnt sure what to think.
Soon after the Jah i did get my Ist from countess, but it took me until today to find a polearm capable of housing obedience and i still havent found a base armor for chains of honor or an um rune.
Seeing as I had my obedience i went ahead and guardianed Andromeda. Although progress was slow with my merc dying a few times there was nothing out of the ordinary and in the end Baal fell.
Im sure some of you are dying to get the stats and gear so Ill get right to it.
