Gear ideas for Proc-A-Zon?!

I had a Proc-A-Zon last ladder and she was alot of fun. I wanna go for gear that has more procs and chance to cast vs overall effectiveness. Fun is priority 1. being able to kill is priority is 2nd.

This is what i have so far:
Goldstrike Arch - 5% ctc Fist of heavens. Up it and it does good damage with 50% ias.
Carrion wind - twisters and high poison reistance, Life leach.
Wisp Projector - ctc lightening, light absorb.
Atmas' Scarab - ctc amp damage, breaks phys immunes.
Hellmouth Gaunts - ctc Meteor and firestorm, fire absorb

Now, i know their are some other choices but i like the IAS, damage, and FoH from goldstrike so thats stays. I have more options with my gloves, lava gouts and laying of hands both have 20ias and procs and ill switch to them if i need to.

Im planning on using Fortitude for damage, life, and resistances. I need mana leach from somewhere so im thinking go with Vamp Gaze/Razor tail belt helm combo (peirceing attack, more life and mana leach, damage reduction and dex) OR Glooms mesh/Shako (+2 skills, huge life and mana, mana leech and regen and some damage reduction)
what one do you think?

Boots will be some decent rares with good resistance, and run walk.

What merc? sick of act2 i want something different. maybe act3 with azurewrath?

anything else i over looked?

Actully i just checked my mules. i have a coranet with +2 zon skills, 7% ML, +19 all res, and some other mods AR and FRW. THinking i might go with that and razortail instead. of vamp gaze.

It's a bad idea if you are planning to multiplayer and a bad idea in general too.

If i strafe with a torch in inventory in a baal run i get connection interrupted very fast.
You will just crash games if you play with other people on battle.net and the damage from those ctc spells are too low to be of any use.

Example: Level 12 firestorm on hellmouth is only 46-50 damage. It gets further reduced by damage reduction and resistances. It's pretty useless even in late normal mode.

Focus on either physical damage (strafe or multishot) or elemental damage (cold tree or fire tree) and stick with it. Shako is great for the elemental build but it doesn't really help much for a physical damage bowazon.

You don't need damage reduction as a bowazon but since gaze has dual leech and you lack mana leech you may as well use it. I'd rather use a tal's mask though.

Act3 mercs are quite bad too. Their damage output is low and sanctuary aura from azurewrath is mostly eye candy and nothing more.

Have you considered using a 'Silence' Crusader Bow? It doesn't have chance to cast specifically (for this, I would maybe use 'Brand' runeword), but it comes with 75 resist all, 11 mana leech, blind, and flee. The damage isn't great, but you'll be very safe and have time for the Chance to Cast stuff to go off.

Brand (100% bone spear + when struck 35% amp)
principle (100% holy bolt)
delirium (11% confuse + when struck 6% mindblast 14% terror + 1% delirium)
atma's amu (5% amp)
hellmouth (4% firestorm, 2% meteor)
carrion wind (8% twister)
wisp projector (10% lightning)


belt: razortail = more pierce = more proc
boots = hit power crafted (when struck 5% frost nova)



Hmm, or something like that? Skill granting items in my sign may contain other items of interest.

This reminds me of my annoyazon which was a combination of strafe with flee, freeze, slow, open wounds, poison and knockback.

I didn't kill fast, but nothing got near me either.

I'm not sure of your wealth but a Wrath bow can be great fun for it's 30% ctc decrepify and 5% ctc life tap... Mix it with an act1 faith merc and the damage is devastating...

Ice bow casts frosty novas...

Dragon armor casts tons of hydras with straffe also... I use Dragon and Wrath with an act 2 infinity merc and the hydras really do melt the monsters...

Act 3 or Act 5 mercs with last wish might be a change of pace... Might adds a decent chunk of bow damage... Fade helps mercs live alot longer...

wrath is a joke imo when you can make a harmony bow and use atma amulet for a much cheaper cost.
