Was gambling at anya, but clicked trade by accident and stumbled across these claws.

Fool's Blade Talons of Quickness

+Max Damage (based on character lvl)
+AR (based on character lvl)
+40%IAS

No staffmods.

Just wondering if this item has any value or any use?

I'd say it doesn't have much use. You might find someone interested in it were you to get 2 sockets, but even then it's less than grand, given it's blade talons (and I know, you'd think that's the fastest base) and blade talons is -20 WS, not -30 like GT or RT, plus it has -zero- damage and staffmods as you said. Sure sins don't rely on physical damage but still, having like none whatsoever isn't appealing either =p

It would be recommended to have some kind of +Venom or +LS staffmod to be useful. And, like thefrag said, it's only a normal item, not exceptional or elite.

Well it can always be upgraded can it not, but I see the dilemma here, they only cost me 8k gold anyways but I thought I better not pass them up just in case some use could come out of them.

Magics can't be upped. Only Uniques and Rares IIRC.

The main reason for a Fool's claw is AR, and Fury doesn't beat any Fool's claw at AR. The comment about the physical damage is a bit moot, since it really isn't important and because of the Fool's mod is the difference is not huge anyway.

If you get two sockets in it, I suppose you could use it till you find a better GT or RT.

A 3os 40ias greater or runic claw is worth over 100 hrs.

Claws are funny. Because yours wont hit the highest breakpoint, I'm guessing they are not worth more than a handful even if they got 2os.
