First Amazon Build HELP!!!!

Ive decided to build an Amzaon - Java.

I have 7 skillers and at the moment I am level 77.
With regards to the points/stat distribution.
I have LF/LS as high they will go, yet I hardly seem to do any damage.
Do I need to have a lot of dexterity, or is that just for Bowazons ?

Charged strike/Lightning fury are your main damage dealers and with that set up and assuming you have titans you should be really tearing through most things not LI. LF & CS don't need AR to hit as they autohit so its generally either dex for Upped Titans or Max block with Stormshield.

What exactly is slowing you down?

I tried to solo nightmare, but had a bt of trouble with damage, i have stormshield and spirit mon, just for the +2, and I have thunderstroke havent got a titans yet,.

Just as i was having a bit of trouble on NM i didnt want to go to hell yet.

Lightning fury really shines when you get some piercing (with skill points, razortail belt). Every time it hits a monster, it has a chance to go through, hit another monster, and release even more lightning bolts.

LF amazons destroy anything not lightning immune. You probably don't have points in piercing or do not know how to herd monsters into a ball so you can get maximum damage. Also, if the javelin hits a wall, more bolts come out again. So try to get monsters into groups before throwing and/or get monsters against walls for maximum carnage.

i dont have anything in piercing, i do have razortail though,ill use one the respec quests, i havent a clue how to herd them ;\

Basically herding is running in circles around monsters so they all clump together into a big ball. Then you throw your glow sticks.

Once you get pierce, things should get much easier and it should become intuitive to bunch monsters together.

what level pierce is best, i have a passive skiller as well, and im also trading an amazon tourch,combined with shako, spirit and viper, thats 9 extra skillls, so it will be at level 10, is that high enough

Razortail adds 33% pierce, and it adds directly to the pierce skill, meaning you only need 67% from the skill to reach 100%.

Level 8 pierce = 65%
Level 9 pierce = 69%
Level 10 pierce = 71%

Sounds like you should put 1 point in pierce and try it out in game without razortail. 65+% pierce will work well enough for smallish packs of monsters.

If you are playing in areas where there are large mobs (i.e. cow level, river of flame with maggots+babies), then getting close to 100% pierce is a good idea. But if you are running WSK or pits or generic areas of the game, 65+% should be high enough.

For NM, I'd say Razortail is better, since safety is hardly an issue, but you may like the +str bonus from Tgods, as you opted for monarchs..

Moreover, with Thunderstroke, you are better off using Charged Strike/Lightning Strike, since these javelins don't replenish. LS is weaker compared to LF due to next delay, but it's still better than chasing the individual flyers with CS. Enjoy slaughtering them now, as they will be immune on Hell.

I'd personally not waste a respec, just wait till the next level and get that 1pt in Pierce.
