Faith in Ward bow?

Hello,

I currently have a lvl 80 strafer using a windforce and fort dusk armor. I am interested in making a faith bow for her and read the guides. I heard that instead of a GM bow, a ward bow might be better for a strafer. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is a faith better than a windforce on a strafer? Also, is there any resale value for a faith ward bow?

I'm too lazy to do the calculations comparing windforce and faith (after aura) damage but i'm sure the two are comparable

windforce has much higher max damage but you also have to factor in the fanat damage boost on faith

faith is much easier to hit a 8/2 or 7/2 strafe than the 150+ IAS required for 8/2 on windforce

windforce has knockback but this doesn't really matter with valk + decoy + merc

unless you plan to give this to a merc in the future i would make it in a GMB or Mat bow for the +bow skills

i would imagine a GMB/mat has higher trade value than ward for faith

i personally believe faith is THE best weapon for a bowazon in 1.11 due to the combination of insane speed + near windforce damage + ITD + resurrect returned mod (very underrated)

Agreed. Along hte lines of "Giving it to you merc in the future"... Having a might merc with faith gmb <matri..> on leaves you with more damage then having a perf windforce and a merc using faith.

imo the more dmg from gmb beats the further .4shots/sec u can get easier using matri.

as for your question, ward bow wouldnt be the best option.

Thanks guys for the replies. Its just that I'm having a hell of a time finding a matron bow to make a faith in and then I hear that ward bow is a good alternative option from one of the guides.

Yea been having a hard time finding a grand matron bow but I have found a 4 socket matriarch bow with +2 skills from the pits today. You think this is good enough for faith? Or should I continue pit running until I find a GM bow?

I used a faith GMB in season 2 at 8/2 strafe and it worked well

this season i tried something different and am using a Mat faith and i like how i only need 45-50 ias for a 7/2 strafe, also the better minimum damage and lower str req is good for a poor person like myself
