Energy Shield Question

Does blocking come before energy shield absorb?
and after lvl 20 telekenisis, is it pointless to put more pts in it?
So a FO/TS Sorc would put:

20 Frozen Orb
20 Ice Bolt
20 Thunder Storm
20 Lightning Mastery
1 Telekenisis
1 Energy Shield
1 Warmth
1 Shiver Armor
Cold Mastery (Rest) ?????????????????????????/

depends on whether or not that lvl 20 is achieved through hard points in it or not, cause the mana absorbed when u get damaged only goes down when u put hard points in telekenisis

As mentioned, TK is a synergy, and only hard points invested in synergies benefit you. You can't reap the benefits of 20-point TK simply by putting one point in it and getting +19 skills; you have to invest all 20 points.

Blocking and defense have nothing to do with EShield. Blocking and defense come into play during the hit-check. Only after the game recognizes that you've been hit does EShield get factored in.

Orb/TS isn't one of the better builds these days, but if you insist, you'll want to max Cold Mastery or at least get it somewhere in the slvl 17-27 range before dumping anything into Ice Bolt since that 2%-per-point synergy is pretty craptastic.

Prebuffing ES would be useful, since the time duration on that skill is pretty long.

Use some +3 lightning gear, such as a circlet, or an amulet.

so it doesnt matter if my gear gives + 20 lightning skills, i have to max telekenisis myself by putting points on it? and it doesnt matter after lvl 20 rite?

For synergies, you must have hard points (points that you dump) in it. So to *max* the synergy, you must dump 20 points.

Energy shield, however, can be prebuffed to have a greater absorbing %.
