Do skills stack on runewords?

Ok, i want to get a beast. A beast Gives you lvl 9 fanta when equiped. If i have a SOJ will that lvl 9 go to lvl 10? thanks for the help

Er.. I don't see why it would. The fanaticism you get from the Beast runeword is an ability inherent to the item, not a skill. And last time I checked, the SOJ doesn't do +1 to skills on weapons, only skills that you can use. Therefore, since the fanaticism aura is independent of your skills, I would say no, the SOJ does nothing to your fanaticism aura (provided that it is the one given by the beast runeword).

i was thinking of using doom for my frost zealot, for the -% to cold resist. how do the auras react? does one take the other over? can i even use holy freeze?

I'm a complete newb, but to make an educated guess I would say that any item that provides a persistent aura STACKS on top of whatever current aura you have. So you can have Holy Freeze/Fanaticism running if you have a beast weapon. Another educated guess is that if you have Beast and L30 fanaticism, only the L30 fanaticism applies. I'm pretty certain about the first, though. It doesn't make sense to make a weapon that completely disarms a critical paladin ability.

yeh ur right u get multiple auras if an item grants one, but if its the same aura as you equip the higher of the two auras will work, and only the higher of the two.

stacking auras with weapons

i'm 100% sure that you can stack it somehow but i'm not exactly certain what gives + to skills. .. let me explain. I have +15 to all skills with my hammerdin setup and my enigma only gives +1 to teleport. however when i put my mouse cursor over teleport in the quick skillls tab, it says i have +7 to teleport. something is upping the skills on it. but not everything,,, maybe someone has the answer, i haven't checked it out in detail, all i know is it helps me teleport more and i'm at work so i can't check right now

For the initial question. A SoJ won't give +1 skill to the Fanat on Beast, since the Beast runeword specifically grants a lvl 9 Fanat aura. On the other hand, a Passion runeword grants +1 Zeal, which can then be boosted by +skills.

InsaneFarmer: Enigma gives +1 teleport. Only items which give +all skills would boost teleport on Enigma, not +Paladin skills items like HoZ, GA, or charms (except the Annihilus, which does).
