circlet and build idea ?s/suggestions
just wondering if this circlet is any good:
+2 paladin skill levels
+30% dmg to demons
+72 attack rating to demons
+10 energy
level 4 holy bolt charges (lol)
obviously last mod is crap, and i can upgrade from norm to exceptional if its worth it. since i am not too good on what is good vs bad for equip, just curious if its worth keeping/trading, or upgrading then keeping/trading.
i've also been contemplating a build that i havent really seen around, a kind of healer-type. the idea was to kind of max prayer and use either cleansing or mediation as the situation dictated, since both of the latter get prayer's benefits. but really when ur in hell level or ubers, how helpful is a lvl 20 prayer (i think 25 life per 2.2 secs)? just wanna know if it really doesnt do much before i go and make the char.
i basically had 3 diff build ideas as far as skills go:
Healer/Undead Masher
20 - prayer
1 - cleansing, meditation
20 - holy shock
3 - prereqs
20 - FoH, Holy Bolt
5 - prereqs
maybe pt or more in salvation and/or sanctuary
basically, med/cleansing would be on and mostly use holy bolts to heal other players/kill undead, throw a FoH around when mana orb fairly full. this would probably be pretty fun in act 2 tombs, sewers, etc.
Hammer/Healer
20 - blessed hammer, vigor, blessed aim, prayer
1 - cleansing, medit
3 - prereqs
i dont know much about hammerdins, but i thought i remembered reading that the concentration/blessed hammer thing was a bug and was supposed to be fixed a LONG time ago. doubt that is the case since i see it all the time LOL. but maybe just hanging out a bit behind a zealot or barb (for example) and having the med with healing and helpin out with some dmg might be a wierd, but helpful idea.
FoH build: use conv/FoH (if max prayer is useless, this prob standard FoH build; whatever healing would come from FoH)
20 - holy bolt, FoH
5 - prereqs
20 - holy shock, conviction
5 - prereqs
thing is i have heard that without a FoH stick, for the most part FoH pallys are not good, both because of lack of damage, and mana cost.
kinda long post, sorry. but always like tinkering with wierd, if ineffective, new builds :whistling:
merc choices are obviously way up in the air on this one
quick side ?: does holy bolt work on summons/mercs?
