Channel on battle.net

Hi guys ,

as you maybe know i just started again after a 6 months break to play diablo2. Anyways since i lost now 2 characters to pk's with this tp hacked trick , i'm pretty much feed up and want to quit the game and stick to wc3.

I really dont mind legit pk's wich try to hunt u down and play to the rules , i also dont have the time to built chars for alot of mf'ing , so basically i play with what i find.

I'm asking where do you guys (in wich channel ) hang out , so that i can get some decent games going , instead of playing in public games and get frustrated when i eventually work up a char after 1 week to mf and get some decent equipment , and get killed , just to start all over again .

Please leave me a note or whisper me online to get some decent games going , i enjoy mostly Necros and Druids.

Shhh... Don't listen to Cleglaw he is just trying to get more people to join him in quiting :lol: Keep going, my 89 barb was just tppkd :rant: but I brushed it off and started a hammerdin. I don't know of any channels but if you ever want to play, look me up *Valar-Wrath on east.

I thought theamazonbasin had some good games going and their own channel on bnet. Not sure how they are doing right now though. i havent been to their site in a while.

The basin is quite active. You must register on their web site in order to participate in games. Basin play is by far one of the most positive experiences you will find on bnet.
 
op d2x was started and sometimes a bot is there, but people never really hang out there. It's usually the same three people idling, and you start to get sick of their profiles.
 
That and (well last time I was there anyways) certain people aren't good to play with in any way shape or form who hang out/used to hang out there.
*cough* didn't cdc-goody TPPK someone using someone else's account about a week ago, just to name an example?
 
acb quit and he had the bot for d2x, so I figure it may slow down...although nobody's ever awake in that channel anyway. It'd be cool to make a channel for people from the dii.net forums to meet but I can't support a bot or anything, if there were one I'd gladly visit though!

Basins anti legit pk though. So 50%+ of this forum wouldn't be eligible.
 
Absolutely nothing wrong about being antipk! The beginnings of most of these private groups have a lot to do with avoiding PKs. I have never sought out the Basin but always here good about it.

Nothing... except for the fact that the people in question enjoy a legit pk every now and then, and the basin wouldn't let them in once they found out that they were pkers. Even if they aren't doing it in the basin games, they are pretty much 100% opposed to non consentual pvp. Since I'd say the majority of this board (myself included) has pked someone at least once... The basin is very good for untwink hackfree pvm, but once again, they do not allow known pks in, even if they aren't pking in basin games.

Now there is grist for the polling. I would have bet that most of the people who visit this part of the forum have not pked (and I don't mean just hit the hostile button for giggles)
