changing cd keys?

no, im not being illegal, dont even think about that.

My problem is that me and my brother own 3 different copies of D2LoD, and he has two computers. The problem is that I am using one of his, and cant connect to battlenet, because he installed both copies on his computers with the same cd key. my computer is currently not working, so if im supposed to play, i need to use this one.

my question is, can i change the cd key, to the one i normally would use or the third one that isnt currently used, without downloading a program? where in Regedit should i find the cd key?

help is greatly appreciated

Yeah same answer from me, I would think uninstalling all three copies and then reinstalling them (and the corresponding cd keys) wherever you need them is a better course of action.

I can tell you that the information is stored within 2 particular mpq files in your installed directory, and there are programs available to modify them without a reinstallation. However, you shall google them at your own risk.
