Best strategy for killing "mini-ubers"

Hi,

I did the whole uber thing last night for the first time with some friends. I found uber tristram fairly easy and figured i could have soloed it by myself if i wanted to. What i found extremely difficult was doing the mini-ubers. The problem i had was getting to Lilith and especially Duriel. The stupid knights kept casting iron maiden and my smiter would die. With Lilith I would try to run past the minions but would eventually get cornered and die. What's the best way to deal with these guys? Should I get a hammerdin and clear these areas out first and then bring in my smiter? I tried to do it with a meteorb sorc but was only semi successful because my merc died too many times due to iron maiden. I figure it took at least 45 minutes to get each piece(except for Duriel who was right outside the portal). How long does it take you guys on average to get each of these pieces? What's your strategy? Thx

The way I do it is this: I get one of my friends to tele straight to the boss for me and set up a TP. I go in and waste whatever boss is in there while they clear out the minions. Once I have all 3 organs, I open the Trist portal and enter it myself while my friend does a Baal run.
If no one's online at the time, I have an Enigma in my stash I could use to tele. Not quite as fast as having someone else tele for you, but it gets the job done.
Usually, it takes only 10-15 minutes to find and kill all 3 mini-Ubers and kill the Uber bosses themselves.

First of all duriel is the easiest to find. Just move north and he will attack you. Izual now is a bit tricky because of those oblivions. I find it dangerous having people teleporting to him and then setting a tp because many times there is that odd oblivion left alive to cast iron maiden from distance while I'm engaging Izual. I prefer clearing my way to him first, I can handle iron maiden with gimmershred. Hammerdin and strafezon are good classes to clear furnance as well. Lilith is the hardest mini boss but putting on a stormshield makes her way less dangerous. It is that it takes sometimes a while to find her even with teleport.
