Best possible damage for a trapper?

I'm wondering what the best possible damage is for a PvP Trap sin is. I'm talkin about the godliest gear you can get regardless of price. MY trapsin does 1-14880 damage with sentry. my gear is as follows:

2x witch-hunters
p Shako w/ p l facet
p Martial arts gloves
p Shadowdancer
p Btals
p Dungos
p 2x soj
p Highlords
torch, anni, 9x trap gc, 10 life sc's

I prefer the btals and dungos because its DR, so I dont have to run all that much, can tank some hits. I'd appreciate advice and your gear setups along with damages.

Facets do not work with traps (except for Fireblast and Shock Web), although the +dmg does misleadingly show up on the Lying Character Screen. => your real damage is lower.

Side note: if they did actually work for traps, Griff's would've been far superior to Shako dmg-wise.

Why Highlord's? Mara's and almost any +2 sin/traps crafted ammy beat it on a trapper, period.

What's Btals?

You got no resists. Make a PvP char before attempting perfection :P

A good trapper will have great damage, teleport, and damage :P

DR comes from enigma/fade.

Just because a character can do its most potential damage, does not make it godly. A godly character is one that wins and a pure damage trapper or any pure damage legit character will not succeed in winning.

Teleport trapper > non teleport.

TienJe's trapper guide is great, should perhaps follow it =p

Is this for pvm or pvp? No enigma. Sdancers are high str req for a sin. Why MA gloves for a trapsin? Highlords...on a trapper, im starting to think its a kick/trapper, no skills on the ammy which for a trapper isnt a great idea. Again dungos can be made to work, but skill/fcr of arach would be better. If this is a pure trapper, you might want to rethink your gear. If this is a kick/trapper, you might want to rethink your gear.

It's not pure damage...And doesn't fade only affect magic attacks? If it does then wouldnt BoS + Btals and dungos be better vs. a melee character? I'm new to assasins so some of these questions may seem stupid. If not HL, what ammy would you suggest?

Every active lvl of fade gives 1% dr. If you got a prebuffed lvl36 fade, you'd get 36% dr from it.

As DayDream said, Teleport trapper > non teleport. So use nigma.

Grab some magefists or Trang as gloves if you lack FCR for tele. Or some IAS gloves if you need some for your traps. There's no such thing as "p Martial arts gloves", and that's really not a good idea on a trapper anyways.

You want frw/res/fhr/life from your boot slot. Stuff like treks, nat boots or aldur boots would all be more suited than shadowdancers.

Mara as ammy if you're only reasonably rich. If you're insanely rich, look for some crafted caster ammy with 2 sin skills, ~20% fcr, resists and stats.

Also, as your traps rely on IAS, CBF is a good mod to look for too. Sacrifice a SoJ for a Raven, or sacrifice Shako for a Kira's (you'd need less resist scs).

Well, if you want all-out damage...

+3 trap circlet
+3 trap ammy
2 x +3 trap + 3 lightning sentry claws
Enigma
Trangs
2 x bk
Arach's
Dancers

9 trap gc's, torch, annihilus

+37 to lightning sentry after battle command which gives 1 - 15104 which is 7552 average damage per trap.

Add an Infinity merc for better effect ^^

And get him killed after 10 seconds into the duel...

hmm... i think i've sometimes read the forum rules where they say, do not talk or prefer or whatsoever ANY kinds of hacked items, like ur bug tals. Am I right about it or wrong perhaps?

Btw, eni is FAR more better than ur btals.
