Best bone necro?

Hi, I'm starting a new bone necro soon and I was wondering where my pts/attributes/gear should be for really nice damage and protection for doing baal runs, and soloing hell? Any help I would greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Check under the pvp section there. All character forums have guides posted from experienced members so those should be the first things you check before asking specific questions. As for "godliest" most people on Bnet have the same builds/gear only difference comes with their actual dueling skills so just duel as much as possible to get better.

The only real things where "wealth" matters, is skillers (>40 life), charms and rares. Other items are almost always pretty cheap.

By the way, to the thread starter, I don't think you should use the word "godliest" and "infinite wealth", since you can never be sure, unless you truly have every and each possible item spawnable in the game (including all thousands of possible rare/crafted combinations). Also, the word godly is frowned upon here a bit, so you should lay loose on it, I thinks.
 
For some reason I thought you were referring to PvP in your original post, if thats not the case then I apologize. I was doing too much things at one time and mixed what someone was saying into this thread :duh:. But what I posted above also applies for PvM, most high lvl bone necros end up with the same gear, only difference is the distribution of points to suit your needs. The link I posted above also provides some good PvM Bone guides so you should check those out and see if they help. Again, my mistake for assuming it was for PvP when you clearly stated you wanted it for soloing hell and surviving baal runs.

I wasn't coming off as egotistical when I stated that, I was simply saying give me the best gear options available not possible ;).
 
Oh --- One more thing, (sorry for the tri-reply lol) Which would do more damage in the long run for PvM (ie baal runs, soloing hell, or perhaps even rushing), Poison Nec or Bone Nec?

Really what I'm trying to accomplish in in this whole thing is to create a necro (excluding summon necro) that would do intense damage in PvM but also allow me to survive solo hell.:undecided:

A bone necro will solo hell much easier since magical immunes are much rarer than poison immunes.
 
Good point. I'm going bone, but the bone guides that I've read are all bone/summon or bone/psn hybrids, and the one that isn't has two problems for me:

  • It's a PvP bone.
  • It isn't complete until clvl 99, which I won't be getting to.

So now my question is can some one post a "personal" bone necro guide in this forum alone, with their personal experience with it. Again, please post gear, skills, and attributes, I would GREATLY appreciate it!:jig:

i disagree.. psn can solo hell easier. Psn can hit many mosters in one shot... boners cant really do that well.... yes there are psn immunes but thats what lower resist and a strong merc is for... and skellies.
 
Bone is cheapest char in realm. I'm just finishing hell (ancients done in second try, only Baal left).
I've started hell with Wormskull, TalEth stealt(?), ShaelEth rhyme(?), Gravenspine, Nightsmoke, Tearhaunch, Frostburn, Mahim, Soj and rare ring with mana.
In act 3 my necro get spirits sword and monarch, vipermag.
Merc has Biggin bonnet, upped Iceblink and Insight in Bec de Corbin (?)
Allmost all equip I've found on my own. All is worth about 2PGs (excet SoJ). In PvP i would be dead within few secs, ppl8 similar, but solo hell is no problem. The worst was Normal, when I had no BS, poor golem and teeth and permanent problem with mana, Izual takes 30mins :). I have lvl 84, maxed Bspirit and spear, Bprison, few in Bwall, few points wasted in poisons, few in golems, courses AD and LifeTap (most important for merc). Damage about 1700 is ok - magic immune occured few times only.
I have Diablo with Polish language version and items RW name can be not correct, but I hope you guess what I have ;)
Summary pure bone necro cost nothing!
