avenger weapon help

i read the avenger guide and he listed some weapons to use. I was wondering what peopel have used and what you think is a good weapon for an avenger pally.

If I ever made a avanger I would make one for pvsm. The weapon I would use would be a Djinn Slayer. I would use 2 sheals in it. So the weapons speed would be at -60. So I could get a 9 framed attack. With some mana leeching going. Also it is purple talk about Jedi!

at the moment, i have the following one-handed weapon. which will be the best for an avenger pally: bloodmoon elegant blade, lightsaber, nord's tenderizer, demon limb, baranar's star, horizon's tornado, & razor's edge tomahawk.

....yeah, i'm not that rich.

I was playing around in Excel tonight, trying to figure out some damage per second figures... I am pretty sure that Djinn Slayer is the one of the best sword options out there for an Avenger. Wearing 40% IAS and socketing it with 2 SHAEL would actually give you 8 FPA. Of course, you would have to find or trade for one with 2 sockets and high ED. And hey, it comes with mana leech which is something an Avenger needs anyways

Sorry, I should mention that despite how cool Djinn Slayer looks, Azurewrath totally OWNS as the best Avenger sword out there... I'm saying sword, because that's really all I've looked at so far... You only need 25% of additional IAS to hit 8 FPA which opens up your equipment options, you can socket whatever you want in it, it does just as much cold damage as Djinn does fire damage, don't forget about the magic damage, and then there is that Sanctuary aura... Holy crap, Azurewrath is a wicked good sword!

Ya they are bolth good swords. I remember Rag actly saying great things about djinn slayer. That is why I said it also I like the cool purple sword. I own a all most perfect one. So I am happy just because it is in my collection.

Nords is imho the best/cheapest non-runeword weapon for avenger. I played 2 avengers in ex-Ladder.
It is very fast and the freeze is very nice.
