Anyone seen this before?

Hi peeps,

I played SP for a couple of months before this ladder, and came by something outstanding!
Played 100% legit, same as on ladder, so don't flame me for cheating, if you don't believe me - that's your problem...

I made a CTA flail and got a roll that made my face go: O.o' :O D:
Here's a screenshot:

I didn't bug it in any way or do any adjustments or whatever... I have no clue as to why it has +8 BO, but it's not a visual bug, it actually adds +8 on all classes except Barbarian, for some reason on barb it goes down to +3.

Anyway, I'm back playing ladder now, so that freak CTA is gathering dust in one of my char folders :D
So, did anyone happen to see such a phenomenon before? How do you think it's possible if the item is limited to +6?

What version did you find the base and what version did you make the runeword?

and btw barbs can never gt more than +3 BO from an item (excluding + skills). It works that was for all oskills (inferno on sorc for example)

Your item version is "expansion" which to me suggests 1.07 or 1.08. I don't remember what 1.09 says, but 1.10+ items say 1.10 expansion on them, so you're either lying or have been duped by someone if you play with others
 
Well, what would be the point to fake it? :o
It's not like I'm competing for something here, just wondering if anyone else had such a bug, not the worst of the kind though... :D

Well I think it would be silly to lie about such a thing, but I'm saying that's the first thing that crosses my mind when I see something questionable. Are you sure you found the item yourself and in 1.11b? The item level also doesn't add up afaik.

I played solo all way through. You're partially right, it does say 1.10+ Expansion on other items, however, I also have a Hoto (nothing wrong or different about it) which also says Expansion, without the version. Also legitimately made. Don't recall if I got the flail before I found out there's a 1.13 patch (never cared for 1.12 changes) or after, but I think I found both flails during leveling my sorc which was on 1.11b.

Geez, all I wondered is if anyone had rune word bugs like this, didn't expect to have to PROVE something...

Seriously though, what would be the fkin point? Share if you can think of it, because I definitely can't.
Whatever, maybe along the way somebody who had something similar happen will appear, until then, will probably have to skip through all the flaming...
And btw, it's spelled definitely.

At least he attempted to use the entire word, just saying. Also, it isn't his native language, I'd assume French, German or Flemish. The odd spelling mistake is excusable.

Nor is it mine, but that's the only way to learn our mistakes. At least that's the way I learned. Not trying to be a douche here, after you've been corrected a 100 times you start to actually care how you spell words.

they will be curious about the circumstances surrounding the "oddness"

2) I wasn't flaming (as far as I know) merely pointing out a little oddity
(which wasn't even related to the o'skills caused by the runeword)

3) I'd appreciate it if you were a little nicer, I haven't called you anything,
nor have I claimed anything about you cheating orso

.. This item is probably a bug when you combine different items from different patches. Ive seen this once, a very long time ago. Pre 1.07 iirc.
But its not interesting at all anymore. I play the latest version.
