Angelic Halo question

I have been searching the forum for the answer and things started to get blurry with all of the post that I have read. I have a question regarding the Angeli Halo. If you wear two of them (without any other piece of the set) will you get both the AR bonus and the MF bonus? For my char, an additional 100 MF would be nice.

no you wont get the bonus unless you have different set pieces but the item bonus stack example if you have the 2 halos and the wings you will get double the bonus to AR.

Wow, is it just me, or is it getting harder and harder to understand people lately. Here is a link that should answer your question.

A bit harsh... IMO...

I don't think that this is the SP way (tm).

PS: Oh and the answer to the question is that if you wear ammy+2 rings you do get only 2xAR bonus and +75 life. If you also wear a 3rd piece, it makes 3 different set pieces and you will get the 3 set piece bonus (i.e: 50% mf x2 + 1 skills), including the 3rd piece used set bonus.

That makes dual wielding angelic rings, amulet and armor an awesome starting gear.

I'll make it clear.
If you will have 2 angelic rings and one other angelic item, you will get +AR/lvl from each ring. If you have 2 angelic rings and 2 other angelic items (for example amulet and armor - the weapon is week), you will get 50%MF from each ring.

I understood him alright, but maybe that's just because I knew what he meant to say already :scratch:

Thanks for clearing that up Hrus! I had all along thought that even with 2 rings + 2 other items, it's only 50% MF.

I thought this was a fairly decent answer. It clearly states you require different set pieces to get the additional bonuses and also says you do get the double AR bonus if you wear 2 rings.

I don't think we should be too harsh on people. Not evryone is going to take the time to search down links and write longwinded answers. Especially not to fairly simple questions which can be answered by some simple in game testing.

right, and I should have been a little more clear, but your right I found out myself that the rings stack after looking at my AR and then taking 1 off.
and Foddercannoned, I play sp only I have never played on bnet or ladder or whatever.
