amazon/strafe IAS points

Hi there,

I'm playing an amazon for the time being, and found this neat crossbow "Buriza-Do Kyanon"..

It has a weaponspeed of "+10"..

So I'm wondering, what are the breakthrough points for amazon's for this crossbow - especially considering the breakthrough marks for the strafe attack (time between arrows)..

I've read various posts about it, is 120 IAS (so 40 extra) correct for teh 2 frame-strafe?

I can't actually answer your question though. I think crossbows are naturally slower to fire, but don't hold me to that!

I know it's slower, however I'm looking for the breakthroughs.. I've found at several points in the wiki/forums several different breakthrough marks..

Most people use the german site it has a very intuitive IAS calculator. IF you google "weapon speed calculator" it should be the first result (makes sure and use the english version)

Anyways, The last breakpoints for a Buriza on an amazon using strafe are 95 and 105 since you automatically reach the 75% BP with the on weapon IAS so if you got an extra 25% IAS you hit the max for buriza, which is: 7/3/4/4/10 or 5.2 attacks per second.

2 frame strafe does not exist, anything past 3 frame will result in strafe lock, although I'm not sure if that is only on Bnet, but 2 frame strafe still will not work, 3 is tops.

This is the resource I use for all things Amazon (from the Amazon forum stickies). The last time I used the german calculator I found it had the wrong breakpoints, but that may have been fixed (I last used it ~ 2 years ago).

FYI here is a video demonstration of the strafe bug.
