Amazon DC hunter! Would this work ?

Hey there ..

I'm currently walking around having funny thoughts about making an Amazon DC(Diablo Clone, Ãœber Diablo)-Hunter .. And was wondering if it was worth it, or if some of you had any good idea's as to make her better .. :)
Here goes nothing ..

Attributes :
Str: 136
Dex: 164 +
Vita: 200
Engy: 15
With every spare points put into dex and vita of course ...

Skills :
Valk: 20
Decoy: 20
GA: 20
Penetrate: 5
Pierce: 5
Avoid: 5
Evade: 5
Inner sight: 1
Slow Missiles: 1
Dogde: 1
MA: 1
CA: 1
MS: 1 +

Equipment:

Guillaume's Face
Duress' Archon Plate
Windforce
Trang Belt
Gore Riders
Laying Of Hands
BK-5
Ravenfrost (20 dex, max possible AR)
The Cat's Eye Amu

And a couple of passive skillers in backpack..

How does this sound?
Any feedback, idea's or corrections would be appreciated ..

i tried killing dclone with a bowazon once, didnt work too well, but my valk was base. this might be alright though. if all you are using is GA then you wont need 5 in pierce or penetrate for that matter as it always hits. instead of trangs belt i would wear either tgods or nosferatus belt since you have cbf from the raven. also, it might be nice to have some fire absorb, like a dwarf star and you NEED prevent monster heal which im not sure your setup gives...

i had a really effective zon dclone killer. i killed dclone many times in 1 minute with this build, all at lvl 75 without going further than hell act1
it was a lighting javazon using charged strike. max cs and all synergies.
i wore cheap stuff, but it worked well:
Unique Death mask - light absorb/res/slow/PMH!
lionheart or tals armor (lol it has res) duriels shell works too
tgods - light absorb/increase light res
titans (if ladder use tstrokes, i made one like this in lad and non, with tstrokes i killed in about 45 secs.)
laying of hands
waterwalk/hotspur/infernostride - increase fire res
dwarf star
ravenfrost
ss or rhyme
maras ammy or highlords
enough str to wear everything, enough dex for block, res vit

basically you want max light and fire res so use charms to get it

use a lr wand on switch then cs away, pick up anni!
 
Hmmm

There are only two things you need to kill dclone with a bowzon.. a high dmg bow and draculs... really... it works as long as you have enough arrows :lol:
Oh yeah, prevent monster heal helps alot.
 
A few ideas

I usually post at *the other forums,* though some yrs. ago I used to be a regular here.

Anyway, I have a few ideas for a DC hunter. I was thinking Riphook of all things. Why? 30% Open Wounds to counter the insane hp regen; Slow Target 30% which is unfortunately capped at 50% for bosses, but better than nuthin; awesome fpa from this 30% IAS base -10 bow, for example to apply Crushing Blow; decent dmg to boot, even better elitized.

Good call on the LoH, need to squeeze as much dmg as we can.

May I ask why the extra pts. in Multi? Just seems to me that Strafe is a better skill for single targets. Also, if there are pts. leftover, perhaps more into D/A/E? Not only will the Valk be needing it, but yourself as well.

His hp is astronomical, maybe Strafing with Crushing Blow from the Gore Riders perhaps? Just too scary to smack him with a Crescent Moon's CtC Static Field up-close but that'd work too, though at only 5% effectiveness.

DC has 95% elemental resistances all around except for his 50% Magic & Physical Resists. Either the WWS or Atma's or the CtC Amp Dmg suffix would do wonders to make him even more susceptible to phys dmg. But anybody using Life Tap on him would be a bit miffed, same with Lower Resist users.

If Wizendraw's dmg+ias didn't suck so badly, frostmaidens everywhere would be keeping 1 for anti-DC. Hand of Justice's -20% enemy fire resists is great for those rare Explo/Immo zons.
