+3 Venom claw?

I’ve read a few guides and gotten a few hints on how to build a WWsin. I know the skill choices you must make, I also know that there are a loot of people who recommend different equipments. But in a loot of the guides I’ve read people have recommended to make a chaos in a claw with +3 Venom. Now why would you wanna do that? When you have two shadow claws to prebuff with there’s no point in having a +3 venom chaos claw, or am I completely wrong, am I missing something?

You're not missing anything. Some people like to be able to play without buffing, even though it is weaker.

Alot of people don't like buffing before every duel, and having to run to stash every time you need to recast venom.

I use 2x +3 venom runic/feral claws and I just cast and go into the fray.

If i'm not wrong it also because the person also wears trang gloves or/and bramble. Then that +psn dmg% works the same way like fire mastery on enchant melee sorcs, first when you cast venom it gets boots from maybe 25% from trang then when you hit an opponent that 25% of your currant venom damage applies one more time.
But of caurse i could be completly wrong because i asume that the extra 25% is taken from your venom lvl at the moment of hit not the prebuffed venom that is already on you!

Enchant and Venom work almost exactly the same way, yes. Venom gets two buffs - once when casting and once when striking. The character screen displays the damage as it would get applied to your opponent, using both buffs.

The extra 25% is taken from the Venom already on you. It is a cast and forget spell. If it worked the way you, Trisk3lion, are saying, then you would have to have some level of Enchant in order for facets to work on striking for any non-sorc character.
