Why not? The 'protect' portion of a jailkeeper's ability would have failed.

(Not that I'm convinced Laarz is a jailkeeper).
 
We just don't usually get mod confirmation on why an action failing in our games. Drixx is a new mod though, so it's possible.

I'm not sure if being jailkept would keep me from saving Pharphis or not.

To be fair, all this is up to Drixx's judgment and decisions and might not follow the usual mafia trends...the messages Flub got with his investigations are as far from orthodox as it goes.

i think what zauper sad makes sense. being the day time facilitator for mafia doesnt require you to do anything right? i guess the question to ask is what does a facilitator do? if its a hands on role then what zauper said does not make sense.
