Gods of Ancient Greece. Forum mafia game.

As a note, I did not get any distinction between the titan and the god of time (I also have next to no knowledge on the subject)

It's like you're not even reading your own words.....

Let me put this in an example for you. Lets say that I come out and say that I watched you last night and that nobody visited you. Well, guess what, I just pre-empted mafia from making any lie concerning any ability on you. They would be flat out stupid to make up a lie at that point that involves you. I have to wait for somebody to make a claim on somebody else and that somebody has to be the person I watched.

One of the things I've learned over my first two games is that I am exceedingly too eager to divulge information. I am being more careful about what I reveal and more importantly when I reveal it. I'm not perfect and I'm sure I'll mess up again, but now that it's in my head to be more guarded about information, I will guard information better.

That being said, if somebody does come out with a claim and that claim happens to be in opposition with what I know, I guarantee I will be rather vocal about it. But, for now, that's not been the case.

Heracles actually. Hercules is Roman. Also Heracles is not the son of Hera, he is the illegitimate son of Zeus (and thus hated by Hera)



Prometheus is also a potential Mafia role, given he stole from the gods.

Given that titans and olympians didn't really get along you could make that argument for anyone. None of the deities had a clean record, but Hades was the lord of the underworld, giving him an extra potential mafia factor.
I don't think it's a titans vs. olympians machup that we have here, and I have my reasons to believe so.

Zokar, you just... don't think so? And your reasoning for that was if someone did something then something could have something something? Right.

Is this example really that difficult to follow? I thought it was fairly straightforward and obvious... what about this confuses you?
 
That's what phone posting with an old loaded page gets me.

I am Ares.

I would describe my role as a sort of JOAT. Amongst other one shot abilities I am one time lynch immune and (was) a one time coroner - hence my questions about reads on dead people yesterday. I have more abilities, but since knowing more details shouldn't benifit town in anyway, I'm gonna keep them to myself for know. I decided to use the coroner ability last night, partly because of our complete lack of information, partly because of this quote by what I thought was a dying man:



I had a real hard time deciding on which of the 4 kills from N2 to decide on. I ended up on CG, somewhat randomly, somewhat because of the answers I received to my question yesterday.

I am pretty sure I believe you Fred. If you are right I wonder if Ankeli is also scum, given he is a Titan (and one that wronged the gods by steeling fire).

One is cronus (the titan) the other Chronos lord of time. I wanted to confirm he was the Titan.

No, it's not, assuming you're town. Which I don't think you are from the way you've presented yourself. If someone can smite a player down durig the day you'd be an excellent choice so we could get to testing Moar further tomorrow instead of hearing another "well I watched someone but I'm not going to say who it was. Oh I'm still alive, inspite of having an information role for the town, because uhh... that's why."

A somewhat insulting simplification.... In the end it is a matter of my judgement. I am weighing how valuable the information is in the hands of town and in the hands of mafia. It is my opinion that saying anything more specific is to the benefit of mafia and not town. If you do not think I am capable of making that judgement then so be it, but I have to do what I think is in the best interest of the town and what you are suggesting is in opposition of that goal. I'll keep your position in mind and just leave it at that for now.

This all assumes you're town. While you did pick up some town points (imo), I'm not quite sold on you yet. From a mafia point of view, this is a good way of faking a watcher ability, without the chance of being caught.

But looks like CG is the obvious lynch today. I also agree with Ankeli about trying to lynch Moar. I'll have to go back and look, but I seem to recall her saying that on the day we tried to lynch her, that she couldn't be lynched until the next day. Then the next day she said she is completely lynch immune, and can only be killed on odd (or even?) days. I've mentioned this before, but something just doesn't sit right with me regarding Moar's claim.

this is completely wrong. I stated that I could only vote on odd days and I can,t be lynched. What I did not add before the day after was that I can Nked on even nights. I don,t understand why you and Ankeli want to provoke another no lynch day.

I see no reason to doubt FoE as he is hanging himself if his claim is wrong and CG turns out town.
