I'm still hoping for an answer to my previous question, but while I'm prodding I might as well ask some more. How comfortable are you making a good/evil judgment based on a name? If someone claims Aphrodite (or insert any other "good" sounding name) will you assume they are townie?

Same general question to you: Why do you associate alignment with a name? Which names are good and which are bad?

Ankeli does need to come back and post, but I did not have two votes. Ankeli also is more true to his posting habits and is also under scrutiny. You got a free pass from Sath apparently.

Caluin's got three votes for saying Leo is mafia cause she said Laarz is town. Any talk of masons is fairly ridiculous as I don't think any mason would make such a huge slip on day one. Everyone else only has one vote. I'm sticking with Jcakes, he got pressured and reacted defensively and guilty. Enough for a day one lynch.

Just because he doesn't show up he gets a free pass? He has three posts, two early on when little meaningful discussion is going on, and another halfway through to comment on TC and modkilling. I guess that is ok, sure.

I meant to get to this earlier:

I read this and thought "Hold on now..." and read CG's post again, the bolded part in particular, and it struck me that kinda looked like a subtle attempt at fishing. I guess like he said he was pointing out that the only way Leo would know to trust Laarz, is if she is scum.

This post makes me feel like you are trying to be on both sides of this issue. Not quite agreeing with what CG did but not quite condemning him for it, either.

So what was your reason for saying that Sath is more suspicious than Gory (if you are essentially neutral to Gory). Comparing him to Gory implied to me that you thought Gory was somehow suspicious.



Not sure what to make of this post. You started by stating that "I don't want to hurt the side I'm on" which sounds kind of like you are saying that you are not on the same side as the town. You went on to list examples of when you screwed up as both Mafia and Town. but then you asked this "Or are you asking what I'd consider a major screw up in this game?". That was the way I took the question which was "why would you need to be more careful" and was why I found your reply a little odd. I am really not sure what to make of you, you've been a bit all over the place today.

That said I think the person I am going to vote for now is Laarz. He has made 14 posts today, maybe two of which at a stretch could be considered to have substance. Feels like he is trying very hard to get post count without contributing much at all.

I am heading to bed, but should be back in time to post a vote before days end if need be. I think the day ends at around 8 am my time .

Didn't you react to her statement that she knows to trust Laarz and then felt to trust him? I certainly did. I can think positive or negative about folks here, but I wouldn't say I know to trust them unless I'm really sure. So a moderated "I feel" statement after an "I know" makes me suspicious and I ask a question or two. She hasn't answered either, yet.

No, I am not discussing if they are mason buddys. I am discussing why CG didn't not mention that as a possibility and just painted Leo scum. In the process of that I provided reasons for why i think Leo wouldn't have acted like she did as a mason ( i still want to hear Leo's explanation about "know" and "feel" though).

I thought a great deal about my role this game and figured out that I have to claim early. Didn't think I would have to claim on D1 though but since I am under fire and don't want to distract town more, I will claim with enough time for us to find a better lynch.

I am 3/4th a stumpy. I can't be lynched or NKed. I can vote today though, but my vote won't count tomorrow (game day), that's why I say 3/4th a stumpy. Take it as you wish. I would have preferred to wait a bit longer with claiming but well, this is how it went.

I call lots of people scum in lots of games. I do it to see how they react to the accusation. That reaction determines my willingness to vote for them.

I do this in every single game I play. Why is this incident different you? Why are you upset that I fingered Leo, yet not a word about my accusation and vote against pharphis?

Well Pryo, any thoughts huh? well people seem to think if I lurk that i'm scum and if I post instead that i'm scum, so I think I need to find a middle ground but what to call it, lurk,post, maybe a combination something like lust or pork.

On the vendetta thing, I was reading the signup thread and saw some chatter in there about vendetta's and it just seem like a conversation starter.

Laarz, i love pork as much as the next carnivore, but I think you're leaving clues or hints.

Yes, Pyro and Kegs caught the reference. Joxer is a character from Xena and Hercules. Both men say that they have watched the show but don't remember Joxer. I Xena-wikied him up and Joxer appears to be a bumbling man who fell in love with Gabrielle, thinks of himself as a warrior but really is not. He grew very close with the two women and appeared off and on during the show. He was killed by a woman named Eve, i believe, who was also Xena's daughter (if what I read is right and understood that correctly). Joxer is also one of a triplet. One triplet is an assassin and the other is a "flamboyant entertainer." Joxer also has a page dedicated to his ballads. He has several and I think it changes during certain circumstances (that page I only skimmed).

Laarz posted something and I did my homework. Where's my treat?

I am direct. I accuse people. That's my playstyle. It makes me look scummy now and then, but it gets reactions and that's what matters. If I get lynched and turn town the reactions will help town. Though I won't get lynched this game, but a failed lynch will also give information.

I'd vote Laarz, CG and maybe Pyro (have to go back and reread to be sure). Right now the one with the most votes has 3. That smells of a no lynch day. I think no lynch days are bad. So can we please get our act together and find out who we want to lynch?

Why I didn't post my god name right away, somebody asked? It just didn't think about including that at that time. Probably should have, but it wasn't in my mind before I saw someone asking about it. Answered it as soon as I saw it.

Interesting. Your 4th post of the game is 69 minutes after receiving a vote. The topic of said 4th post? A soft OMGUS retort that names Ankeli and corax as scum buddies with theranking. Have you made a case for either or them before? Interacted with them before?

I think BA is going for the easy target (me) for what I said about ML, but I think Laarz is a better choice for a lynch today than BA. Laarz doesn't seem like he's putting any effort in, and as others have said, he's just raising his post count by the looks of it, which might tie into some role.
