Best character to play while drunk
Make a generic pick or choose one for each of the following levels:
Buzzed
Definitively Drunk
Blind stinking Drunk

Character-doesn't-matter-since-you-won't-remember-anyway
My picks:
Buzzed-Lightning fury zon or light sorc. Lightning spells seem much more fun when you have a little buzz going.
Definitively drunk-Summoner Necro. With amp, ce, tele, dv and whatever else you feel like casting, it is just active enough to keep you occupied and safe enough to keep you from screwing up too badly.
Blind Stinking Drunk-Zealot. Whether physical or elemental this is a one click char. Not a lot of thinking needed, which is good since you won't be capable of thinking too much anyway.
Character-doesn't-matter-since-you-won't-remember-anyway-Well the title kind of says everything doesn't it? Bowazons are a good choice, as are sorcs or Zealots. The main thing here is to try and stay in normal difficulty. Nightmare can be OK but Hell is out of the question. Who knows what madness you might think of in this state while playing Hell difficulty. How much worse would your hangover be if you woke up to find that you ran into two packs of unique gloams with conviction, cold enchanted, fire enchanted and extra fast, then decided that it would be better to gear up for each attempt to recover your corpse? Answer: WORSE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE.
