To delete or not to delete....

Hello all...

Back again after a long hiatus...Good to see the old familiar faces again, along with new "recruits." Imagine my surprise when I logged in here after so long and saw that the long-awaited DIII was becoming a reality! Anyway, my wife and I like to try a lot of different builds, so we have a lot of different characters saved on the computer, most of which we hardly ever play. Does the game use the total number of characters saved as a basis for anything? Should I get rid of them or let 'em ride?

Welcome back!

I like to keep my retired/failed/parked builds around for testing purposes. Occasionally I want to see how well a particular combination of items works together or maybe how well a particular skill fares in a difficult area. It's not a perfect facisimile usually but close enough to give me an idea of how well my new build will work.

You can always save the character files elsewhere and put them back in the proper folder if you want to use them again. Its not like they take up much space.
