You get the charge in writing, in the next days. In the Reference code: #26824, are a copy of all files, that we found on your computer. The sender address of this mail was masked, to fend off mail bombs.
- You get more detailed information by the Federal Bureau of Investigation
-FBI-
- Department for "Illegal Internet Downloads", Room 7350
- 935 Pennsylvania Avenue
- Washington, DC 20535, USA
- (202) 324-3000
OMG OMG OMG! I'm going to jail! Fortunately, I was able to plea bargain off of the "FBI" by not downloading thier attached virus and by correcting thier gross flaws in the email.
Interesting the "FBI" needs some work on grammar...
>you will be indicated
indicated? You mean perhaps indicted, as in summoned and formally charged?
>Downloading of Movies, MP3s and Software is illegal
Um, no. Try again. 'Copyrighted' is a key word "FBI."
>contents of your computer were confiscated as an evidence
Darn, so thats what happened to my hard drive... I was wondering where it ran off to. Confiscated means to sieze or take, NOT to record as evidence.
Also, "an" evidence? WTF? At least use spellcheck you noobs.

Holy comma misuse batman!
Pro that they are charging "Ladies and Gentlemen. I love the "You get the charge in writing."
Pretty neat trick that they are going to mail me in writing a copy of all files on my computer, eh? (Canada Power gogo)
Sigh...
Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. And to think this is my tax dollars at work. Not the FBI, of course, as this is obviously a weak attempt at a virus scam. Still, I probably subsidize this stupidity because it probably originates from some state-supported college were students cower behind the mask of "academic freedom" and try to think of cute ways to scam each other while they are waiting for the porn sites to get updated...
Sigh...
