This set isn't particularly great for a necromancer, however, mostly due to the fact that the damage and attack speed increases aren't very valuable to a necromancer, but it would be quite useful for a low level necro because of its +1 to all skills bonus as well as the Fastest Cast Rate on the wand.  The boots are a popular item for all character types, and can be immediately recognized by their jolly neon purple hue.
