Act One, Rogue Encampment. We have a great view here of the Rogue Encampment, all mapped out. The new mini map is much improved, showing important features, and geography as well. You can see the Sorceress is where the blue plus sign is, near the white plus sign to the left of the mapped area. The big blue rectangle is the river with the bridge across it, well off to the lower right of this screenshot. Large buildings are displayed as well. The lighter grey markings are where the paths are, and the plus signs mark important spots, probably all various NPC stands. The NPC here is Gheed, who sells and buys nearly everything. The rogue encampment is in this shape every game, with some random changes to the arrangement of things inside it, but it's always surrounded on all sides by walls, with the one entrance/exit. Outside of the encampment is of course the wilderness, which has fewer features in it, just things like dirt paths and walls and shrines show up on the map. This Sorceress has not been outside around the back of the camp at all yet, as it is totally unmapped. -- 3dfx enhanced 9/99.
