According to the article at thegamer.com Former Studio Head Jennifer Oneal on linkedIn has become the EVP of Development at Blizzard.
On a personal note, this transition brings me so much pride. I started my journey 17 years ago, starting as an Associate Producer and working my way up to Studio Head. It has been my great joy to work with a team so committed to meeting our goals, facing challenges head-on, sparking creativity, and ultimately delivering great games to our players.
As I take on my new role of EVP of Development at Blizzard, my trusted right-hand Simon Ebejer will become VV’s new studio head. I want to thank Rob Kostich for being an amazing partner to me and the VV team at Activision over the years. To J. Allen Brack, thank you so much for this opportunity. I look forward to continuing to work closely with you and the Blizzard leadership team, and I know we’ll have a bright future together.
This all comes a week after Vicarious Visions’ merge into Blizzard Entertainment. What does this mean for the future? Who knows, but we can only hope for the best. Looking at you Diablo II Remake.
