Oscar worked on Diablo 3 while it was still in development at Blizzard North before moving to Blizzard Irvine to continue the project. So what was it like working on Diablo 3 at Blizzard North? Did you know there were some radical style changes and there were even bulldogs with a punk mohawk in the original Irvine version? After a slight hiccup last week, Blizard has now kicked live the Diablo 3 Patch 2.6.9 PTR. There are three key areas they are looking for feedback on including the Demon Hunter and Necromancer sets, Necromancer skill changes, and Legendary item changes.

What are Greater Rifts? Greater Rifts (GRs or GRifts), initially known as Tiered Rifts are a special timed type of Nephalem Rift, added in Patch 2.1 and modified repeatedly since then. Grifts are designed to provide an end gameplay mode with progressively increasing difficultly, plus rewards to match. Blizzard will be releasing the 2.6.8 patch on to the Diablo 3 PTR servers on 6 February and the full list of patch changes have now been released. The patch notes detail the Season 20 theme called Season of the Forbidden Archives where all slots in Kanai’s Cube will be able to select Legendary powers from Weapon, Armor, or Jewelry. Three new class sets for the Barbarian, Witch Doctor and Wizard are also detailed. Also, check the follow-up notes from the community team.
