Imo either the remaining faction doesn't have nk abilities, or they were afraid to use them in case they may be redirected.

Hard to say, especially with a setup this complex...it all depends on what seemed balanced in TC's eyes.
Not that many posts to read, you might as well read them properly. I already stated clearly that I didn't switch myself last night.
So, in this scenario you have me & my mafia buddies self-nking night after night? Why? Also, why would I not use nk abilities last night if I had any? What on earth would my endgame plan be?

For the last time, I'm Ann Arctica, a citizen stranded outside the town.
I was told I was lost and hiding in a building. I had to wait until a scout found me in order to be inside the town. I can only assume there was a chance of attack while outside the walls by the NPC zombies or something else.
Its obvious to me that someone either was recruited at the last minute to the mafia (which would make no sense since feysal sold out three of them), or there's an sk still amongst us.
I think we should just kill whoever is most suspicious. And if that's me because I didn't get a power role, I'm fine with it. But, when the game doesn't end tomorrow, keep in mind who is pushing for me repeatedly.

Lynching you at this point is senseless. It has to be me or Ivan - simple logic states one of us must be lying scum.
Unless the remaining faction/player actually has switching abilities, in which case Ivan is telling the truth and we are truly boned.

What do you think the anti-town role is?
Do you agree that we should lynch you to test Ivan's claim?

He's the only one that put out the suggestion of your claimed role. Before that, we had no idea why Gorny was NK'd.
If the remaining faction doesn't have NK abilities, how will they win? Even if they got all the lynches down to 1 townie vs them, it's a tie.
But you bring up a good point, if the remaining faction refrained from NKing because of fear of being switched onto himself, he could delay killing until you were lynched then start up.
But why did you claim the same role as Gorny? Coincidence? If you are townie, he wouldn't have know the Citizen role existed (as Asrrin and Goryani are presumed to be the remaining Scientist and Scavenger) but he claimed it before you.
If there is a SK remaining, why has there never been a double kill in the game?

My initial assumption was a sole mafia infiltrator. Ivan's bold actions today have pretty much nulled the chance for that though, so I'm not sure.
Again, you raise a point I've already addressed, but very well.
As I said before, I think this hase to be an 'all in' move by the baddies, I doubt Ivan is acting solo and I believe my lynch will allow them a win.
(if the scum have actually diverted Ivan's investigation and we're both town, the town is pretty much screwed)
Stating a fairly obvious conclusion is hardly the same as vouching for someone. The only question is why he never assumed Zarni could be the bus driver, which is probably due to my reluctance to give a full roleclaim the day before.
Lack of nk would only be feasible if they had some other mechanic, i.e. recruiting.
I expect to be away for a fair amount of the remaining time but will probably return before day's end.

crazy scientists have been in Resident Evil (movies and games) as well as the walking dead and I am sure in others as well.
anywho, Noammr if KI is anti-town how do you explain him saying he received binoculars? That would have to be a pretty crazy guess, almost improbable wouldnt you say?

Its weird the previous ones gave a little more such the name (but they were all pro townie results I suppose) not sure how to weight it tbh its TC who gives the details so I'm not reading too much into it.
Its possible that someone switched Noammr hence giving me the false positive but I don't think you'll get someone to put their hand up saying they did it if thats the case. I voting simple on my cop role and the result gathered overnight and the unlikely occurrence of a switch.
By the way binoculars (for the item which proves me town - since bad people cannot get an item) allows the scout to recruit one more survivor if they possess it.

So I was thinking, desperate times and all that - should I commit suicide via modkill? Here's the logic behind it:
Scenario 1, assuming Ivan's investigation actually got diverted somehow and the bad guys have nk abilities (worst case aside from cult):
I get lynched, Sath gets modkilled, night sees another nk, day sees Ivan lynched, another nk and you're left with 2 players, town loss.
Scenario 2, same base assumptions:
I get modkilled, Sath gets modkilled, Ivan gets lynched, nk, and you're left with three players and a chance to win if we have a single baddie.
Ofc, if Ivan shows scum we're better off and if there's a cult (or some other faction numbering more than one person) we've pretty much lost anyway.
Thoughts? Better put this into play asap if this is how we want it.

I suggested using a modkill solely as a strategic tool...while I can appreciate your views on the matter (and share them, really. I dislike people using the game rules that way), as I said - desperate times.
