It's been only a few days since I've started writing this log, but it already feels like it's been a whole month, more or less. But tonight, for the first time, everyone had a good night sleep, no one was killed, no zed came to take our pie. When I awoke this morning, the sun was shining bright and there were a few birds singing in a tree near my house. I wonder when will the time come when this will be normal again? When I can wake up, drink my coffee and head to work? I guess time will tell.

The item I received was a pair of Binoculars. I did not get a chance to swap this to another townie as TC did not mention it in time and I did not get to log on in time with work to see I could!

As far as my cop investigations goes I looked into Noammr - came up Anti Town (thats all I got), all my other checks have been slam dunks so I'm going with my abilities read

All I can assume is some sort of cult in play, as a lone infiltrator would know he's doomed to lose even if he managed to push this lynch through.

Then he probably has some kind of item stealing ability. You think quirky game mechanics take precedence over actual actions ingame? I am disappoint.

I've played this game 100% for the town while KI has done many things that could at best be considered questionable at best, but if you want to lynch me based of an item he holds, so be it.


If I was anti-town I would've:
A- let the mafia kill off more townies instead of forcing two of thier nks on them.
B- self switched every night with a townie in oreder to protect myself from investigation.
C- claimed to have switched myself tonight with someone (a possibility Ivan didn't even consider when he came after me) whether I did so or not. I didn't btw.

Really? Must of missed it I just got the message I received an item and that it would be useful for the scout - not sure how I would get it to the scout but I did not ask TC specifically

You have just proved me correct - Laarz was switched so I told the truth exactly what read I got - thats a slam dunk, and it was pretty obvious that a switch occured

Omgomg, really?!?! I didn't notice that my post lined up with your investigation or I wouldn't have posted that, omg!

Sorry for the attitude, but I have little patience for reply posts such as the one you wrote, don't brandish things I said out-right as if you've made some clever discovery.

Like I said, you had reason to suspect a switch, you had no way of knowing with who and yet you:
-First off stated "Laarz was a scavenger" as if waiting for me to come say "ah-ha, he wasn't, but he was switched with a scavenger" (which was what prompted my suspicion towards you on the last day).
-Then claimed all your investigations were "slam dunks" before you had any confirmation on the switch target.

There's little point in me and you arguing over this, Ivan. Let's see what the rest of the town thinks.

Zarni has never and claimed he will never lie in a mafia game.

@Zhao everyone is accounted for in this list. Noammr has to be a Civilian as well and our "Cop" has confirmed Noammr as anti-town.

Noammr did you say what your townrole is? Since you are in the town it would have to come up in the list of roles so can you remind me what it is?

Not sure if that's what you meant by 'list of roles (iirc none of the civi powers were listed anywhere) but anyway;

My role is called a 'bus driver survivor' and is classified as a civilian. If Zarni or Ivan are what they said they are they could probably confirm a similar format to thier role (note that apart from the role name the wording is not exact).

So ... everyone in the mafia is dead and we've got someone with a anti-town role listed as a townie. Before I decide how to put my vote I'd like to ask a couple questions to everyone who's played the game several times:

1) Can someone start out townie and become corrupt later on? Aka would it be far fetched to have someone bitten an infected in this zombie themed game, or can we assume all roles are fixed right from the start?
2) How large is the percentage of anti-town players usually? Since the mafia was only four in a game with over 20 players I guess it makes sense that there's someone left to take care of ... but could there be two?


Also:

Items:
1. There is a 50% chance that 1 town aligned player will receive a free item during each night. Items can be traded by sending a PM requesting that the item be traded to a random town player.

Only "town aligned" players will receive them, that much is clear, but can I assume that they are also only traded between town aligned players TC? Or does "town player" also include corrupt townies?


PS: I think we can make use of 48 hours today ...

Town aligned players refers to "the good guys". Usually, in a mafia game there are 3 factions. Town, Anti Town and Neutral.
Town aligned players win once all anti town players are dead.
Anti Town aligned players win once all town aligned players/neutrals are dead.
Neutrals usually have their own agenda which may or may not interfere with the other factions.

So we have the classic senario where Ivan is claiming to get anti-town on Noammr and he says it's a lie. If Noammr had switched himself, he would have brought it up already.
