WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Tyvm for this guide. I'm building this right now, and i have a question. When you say get 50% Dr with gear, could you explain it, to me, this is my first sin build.
fade adds 1% dr per skill level, so DR% from fade + the DR% from equip should equal 50%

oh ok, thanks a lot.

another question:

Would this be a chaos or fury claw?

Runic Claw with +1 mind blast, 3ls, 1 fade

would better mods to get are venom and shadow master?

it can be both, but it depends on which claw your second type will be.

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

TienJe, ok I'm having dueling problems against Poison Nova Necros. I just can't beat them. They nova me like mad, my hp goes down to 1, and then I'm eventually dead. What's your dueling strategies against them? I'm seriously having so much trouble against those types. Seems like avoiding the novas is inevitable to me. Unless I completely stack resist, I'm cannot avoid it. There have been a few times in which I was able to kill one. It relied on heavy mind blasting after ww him to the point where his health bar was down to 1 percent of his life. I would then mb him 2-3 times and he'd die. What's your take?

pn necs shouldn't be hitting you with nova if you're careful, unless you know you can overpower him and just jump on him quickly for the kill. you need to try and set up stun from the corners of your screen, so that you stay out of nova range. once you get the trap stun, then you can jump in for the whirl. try and stay out of nova range until you have him stunned. if the nec is max block, then you might need to back off as your traps start to wear off.

using the seondary melee attack works really well here as well, as the shadow stack will protect you from the nova after you jump.

the strategy isn't all that hard; you'll just need to get your proficiency with your mouse movements up.

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

which enigma u wear.... and it makes u look reddishh kinda tell me now plzz pm me plzzzz

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Gothic Plate makes you have the red pants look.

And the FCR breakpoint is indeed 65%. 60% FCR will only hit the 42% bp.

EDIT: you can see the fcr tables here

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

How do you hit the 65% FCR BP? I only count 50%. If you swap gear for aforementioned bp, I would list that gear, or list 42% bp.

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Trang = 20
Arach = 20
Circ = 20
Ring = 10.

Or, if your helm has no fcr, the ammy could, etc. Maybe even a mix, like 10 fcr circ + 10 ammy or what ever the combo is.

In both his Vemon, and Phys builds, they both hit 65% fcr with 70 fcr from gear (each using the numbers I posted above)

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Hmm, was wondering how much AR I should aim for vs Casters and how much AR vs Barbs/Smiters.

I'm thinking that I may in fact not need a visionary helm.

now of course, the answer is subjective, and it will depend on what defensive skills the other players are using (cold armors, defiance, shout). as a general rule of thumb, i use fury against casters and fools against barbs/pals, with both venom/phys builds

Yep... was never aware of fcr on trang until I just found a p pair... Thank you nonetheless.

Trying to revamp my build at the moment vs Casters

Using a rare ring without AR, and without my visionary helm I have just over 5k AR.

With my 106 AR ring on, I hit just over 6k.

With my visionary on, I hit 6.6k AR.

With both, it's about 7.8k AR.

I'm thinking about changing that ring and/or visionary helm depending on how much I need AR. It's difficult to get a decent fcr/ar/stats/life/res/mana ring on ladder at the moment.

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

you can look at the hit rate % equation to get a sense of how your AR translates into hits. just to give you a benchmark, assuming equal character levels, 6k AR will translate into a 80% chance to hit against a 1.5k def opponent.

i know a lot of hybrids get away with 5k AR against casters, which seems to work fine because the opponent usually try to run out of stun, meaning they have 0 def anyway.

since its a cost issue, you'll just have to decide for yourself which one is the better deal.

Re: WW Ghost Assassin Guide V2.0

Pyroxate, do you have a fools claw? For high def opponents, it helps a ton.

Also, what do your charms look like?
