You Mention Sandstorm Treks for boots but,why not Waterwalks?.they add 15 to dex and 65 to life.Wouldnt they be just as good,if not better than Treks?
Also,would Chaos/Fury be a good in a Suwayyah (sp?) be ok as an alternative if you cant get a descent Runic/Feral claw?

waterwalks are fine, though i think treks will net you more life, given that you rebuild to keep the same stats.

1x suwayyah is fine if you plan to wsm bug; they won't work if you dont' wsm bug or plan to use 2x suwayyahs.

Hi TienJe,

Love your guide. Im trading to get some nice Ghost gear and i got 3 Socketed Suwwayah and 1 3 Socketed Runic Talon. Runic got 2 LS, 2 Venom Suwwayah got 3 LS, 1 Venom, 1 DF. Wich one should i make Chaos in and whcih one Fury?

hey i'm new to D2, barely been playing. how do i go about getting certain gear.

the main thing i'm worried about getting is the weapons with WW, anywhere posted on here in detail on how i can obtain one?

mmm what exactly is the chaos runeword?

ah.. Runes: Fal + Ohm + Um

so i just find a weapon with 3 sockets on it and use those in the cube? could you point me in the direction where i could find such a claw? (diablo meph baal.. in hell i assume)

Not in the cube, just socket them straight in. As for finding good claw bases, that is the challenge faced by every assassin fan. Usually running large packs of monsters while wearing no MF is a good option, so Cow-running Javazons stand out. But running for claws is pretty unpredictable, so I think most people just play normally but make sure they pick up every decent claw base they find to check out the skills.

Shadow claws + helm socketed with facets. Pretty self explanatory. Try to use Bramble when you buff, as the %PD damage works once when you cast it and will give you more damage than Enigma or a faceted Nat's Armor.

I have 2 x 6 venom claws + bramble 50% poison for prebuffing, but when I switch back to my normal claws the poison damage seems to drop a bit... Are you sure the %poison stays? In that case, is it hidden?

Edit: Ps kudos for an awesome guide. I'm loving this ghostsin, it's completely unstoppable save for a wellgeared bvb!

it stays but you will be doing less damage compared to bramble as active armor because the 50% bonus applies twice.

I got a problem, I got 25 100PDSC's. I found out, that this doesn't stack w/ venom.

So, wtf should I do. Venom or my charms? Thanks guys.

Venom deals more damage and the charm space is useful for life sc/ shadow gcs if you wish to use them (which will also boost venom nicely) ^^

Ok, so I just made Chaos Suwayyah and Fury Runic Talons. I managed to get all the equipment made possible for this Ghost build. Not to mention, this build is geared towards the "physical" type. Now, after reading further into this thread, it seems like having the substantial amount of 3/20/20 scs is pertinent for this build and yet I cannot get one b/c it seems extremely expensive on USEAST (more than a freakin' Ist I'm willing to bet). Most likely the best I can obtain are only 20 life scs. Is there an alternative to this? Anyway to rectify this problem I'm having?

Also, what's the average AR for the "physical" build?

with proper scs, you'll probably net ~6-7k AR with fury, and 12-14k with fools.

if you're worried about getting fine modded charms, then just go ahead and use 9 shadow gcs. theres nothing wrong with using strong claws and 9 shadows.

Can anyone tell me how I can get the whirlwind skill? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm lvl 48 and new to the game, so sorry for posting such a foolish question =(

It's just that I'm worried about having low AR. But perhaps with 9 shadow gcs, the AR percentage will increase. I may also TRY and obtain AR/Life scs.

with 9 shadows, you'll have to use a fools claw for the paladins/barbs, but you'll be ok with fury against the casters.

you can also try mixing and matching metal grid/rfrost/angelics if you don't want to use/buy a fools
