Erm...you sure about that? Cause I'm not aware of it. Anyone who wanted to hack to kill you wouldn't have to tppk, they'd just AK you. Not to mention in D1 you could switch to hostile at any time... you could fire a few fireballs in the direction of the other guy then hit the hostile button without tping.. why bother tppking? Hell you could PK with fireball without being hostile as the splash in D1 hit allies as well.Rekoc said:

Since a few weeks I play HC (did SC for years) and wish I read posts like these before my lvl 43 summon necro get smacked by a nice person in a public baalrun :lol: Pretty annoying this tppk but I survive.
Now I'm keeping it to private games but that's boring. I like to team up. Problem is I don't know anyone in Europe HC trustworthy. I only know that I never had problem in SC while trading with people from this forum. If anyone wants to team up with me (have 25+ necro and assa atm) let me know. Acc = groen1 :thumbsup:

Listen folks. They are here. You can sit and ***** when it happens to you, you can avoid it, or you can go play SC and not have to worry about it at all if it upsets you to that degree. I kill innocent pvm'ers but by jumping them at a waypoint. I don't agree with tppk, how ever coming on here to rant about them is probably the dumbest idea in history...

Once you've seen a few TPPKs and LPKs they are relatively easy to avoid. Hence my unrefuted claim that they only victimize noobs and inexperienced players. But the problem is that in order to avoid these types you have to play in such a paranoid and perverse manner that it detracts seriously from the enjoyment of the game. And ruining the game for everyone is far more important to me than whether someone else is playing the game 100% legally or not. I'd like for everyone to play legally, but there are more important things to the overall enjoyment of the Realms.

Of course you wouldnt choose for your character to be killed. Regardless, my question was not "how would u like to be killed" it was who would you rather play with, a cheater, or a legit player, because in my view that is the core problem, not the people who choose to play the game differently then simple PVM, but the ppl who abuse it.

If you don't like it when people PK, go softcore. I mean, why else would you play HC but to have the thrill of knowing 'sheesh, I can die any moment !!". Pk'ers give you a chance to run before they kill you, if you don't take it, tough luck. I fail to see how PK'ing could ruin someones experience. If you die, you rebuild. Wether its from lag or from being overconfident and fighting a PK is the same imo.
