Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread
If corax isn't pro-town, are you thinking Cobb? Knife/scalpel and all.
It might be needed for the mysterious double votes, double strength votes, vote steals, etc.
I'm at a disadvantage, since I don't know the lore of NCIS. My thoughts are based solely on the mechanics, and my gut tells me an anti-lynch ability is more often associated with scum than with town.
Your second point, however, does make some sense. I still have suspicions on corax, though, mainly because I do not like how he approaches the forming Noodle lynch.
Noodle used to take offense to being called a lurker and confront the accuser at least somewhat. Then again, he used to not vote D1 while lurking and caught some attention while doing so. Has he evolved as a player or did he take precautions this game?
I asked a question a bit ago about why people were voting for Noodle. Booger's answer I liked quite a bit, even if he was just pointing to an earlier case, but it's a solid one and well thought out. Shows he put thought, effort, and work into it.
I was mainly after those people who pushing on Noodle due to his 'lurking' (*coughASRRINandCORAX*cough*). I find that line of reasoning to be extremely scummy, mainly because Laarz has a lower post count. The gap widens slightly more when you remove any 'fluff' posts (those with no real content - noodle has two, Laarz three).
Yes, it's true that Laarz was absent Day 1, but even with a few posts (three is about his average?) that only puts him in the ballpark of being even with Noodle.
So... my point was; if we're forming a lynch on Noodle because he's a lurker, then why has nobody mentioned Laarz yet, who's lurking harder than Noodle?
That's why I find corax scummy right now. He sees an easy lynch forming on Noodle and isn't doing any real scum hunting of his own.
Asrrin I find scummy for a slightly different reason, but I wanted to hear his reasoning behind his Noodle vote before I mentioned it. Since I'm already divulging, might as well say it now.
Can someone refresh me as to why Corax is under fire? Other than being a lurker? I'll vote for him to lock a lynch, but I'd feel better if I knew there was more to it than lurking.
As for today I want to try lynching another lurker. Luckily for us Corax was lynch immune, and from the story is pro-town. So the chances that our other lurkers are mafia is just that much greater.
Vote: Noodle
This little bit of hypocriticism I find interesting.
