Which Realm?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was wondering which realm would be the best to play in. I played on east for a while before we moved, but it's been so long my accounts have most likely expired. I should be getting another copy to be able to play again soon, but I'm not sure which realm would be better to play on. I've read in other threads that there has been some issues with lag and that duping has pretty much been nullified. I only wish to play on one realm at the moment, and I think the issues people may be experiencing would have an affect on the choice I make. Anyway, I just wanted to see what others thought of this. :smiley:

I actually play on three realms: USEast, USWest, and Europe. I started on East and had lots of fun. Then I moved to West and found it to be a bit better as far as lag goes, although West prices were about 3x that of East for trading items. When I got bored with West I invaded Europe. I've been on Europe since then, and I'm having a blast playing/chatting with the guys from the ETF. If you are considering only between East and West, I would recommend West. Between those two, I had a better playing experience on West than I did on East.

Dupes do exist in Asia, though not nearly as bad as what I hear about on other realms. I have not had a single item poof yet. Before the recent patch, there would be bad lag maybe one night a week on average.

As for the n00b talk, none whatsoever. Once every couple of months I'll encounter a PKer who tries to slaughter everyone or disrupt the game.

Of course, if you start making friends in the English chat channels, you'll increase your exposure to n00b talk a hundredfold.

i play on west. if you play on other realm means you'll not get to see the games where i get bored-er and use my hdin to cover south -east area in act1 camp with healing pots. - haha .

If u want to get geared quickly go on east, find a pcombat charm, even if its plain and ppl will pay full chars for it.... i had a full smiter within 2 weeks of finding 1 charm....

though never played on any other realm so i cant talk much

I think I get the best connection in East, West is better to play in, and I have more fun on Europe. :tongue:
