Nothing spectacular but as I was taking my new Necro through NM CS I got 4 rune drops... 2 PUL and 2 UM... all in the same game within 5 minutes...

I've been playing through single player with an untwinked Druid when this dropped for me in Act 5 NM. Probably isn't that impressive, but for someone who has been playing this game for nearly a decade, this is probably the best drop I've ever had. Kinda kicking myself that this is on single player.
I came back to Diablo 2 after being incredibly dissapointed with Diablo 3 (can't even make myself finish Act 4 of normal difficulty, though the new patch might change things up), and I'm surprised how much fun I've been having. If you ignore the min-maxing and rushing through acts that would normally be advocated for multiplayer, you get a completely different experience. Playing a summoner druid in normal difficulty provided a refreshingly different experience when compared to the necromancer, while playing a hurricane druid in nightmare has proven to be equally as satisfying.
Any advice on what to use the Mal for? For the first time I've been experiment with the low level runewords I had been oblivious to (loving Smoke at the moment!), and waiting for an Ohm for Call to Arms probably wont lead to much.

Fixed it. Just a Mal rune, not that impressive really, but better than anything I've ever had drop.

My only Mal rune(4 years exp.) also came from NM Act 5 (WSK I think & I playing on ladder MOTT). This ladder I found so far; 1 Ber, 1 Ohm, 2 Vex, 1 Gul, a couple of Um, Pul and Lem runes, but that's all (Need to mention that I am not playing too much so... I'm pleased with my rune drops). So much fun with my Zerker though; found an Ohm ~ a week ago; a Fallen Shaman just horked it up. It was an awesome feeling, man! Keep up the rune hunting and have fun Pierre ( at the end of the day it's all that matter anyways).

So I recently picked up playing with my hammerdin again (lvl 87, no enigma/Hoto/CTA), bc I wanted a change of all the AT runs and I found over the months some stuff to improve his surviveability (Arach/BK/ST43@/nice charms).
So Chaos runs are a walk in the park on p5 settings and some drops are:
- 15 ias/11@ jewel (any thoughts where tot socket this in?)
- Andy 30 str/10ll
- Dungo's crap stats, but a grail item non the least
- level up to 88
