What to socket with...?

I traded for an ethereal Skullder's Ire with one socket in it, but WHAT to socket it with? My merc kind of lacks life leech, my initial idea was to give him life leech, but that only works in weapons if using an amn rune

Alternatively finding a LL jewel? But that sounds pretty hard. Or maybe even better, sell the damn thing for a better amor for him?

LL jewels don't exist, so that would indeed be quite hard

You could always socket an Ist in it for the mf bonus. Since eth Skullders has repair, you could also choose to use it yourself.

You could always socket an Ist in it for the mf bonus.

Probably would end up proving best merc-survival-wise to socket it with an IAS jewel and stick a LL helmet on him, probably Stealskull for the MF and IAS
