What happens if i do this????

what happens if i upgrade a viper magic???
does the defense only goes up? or is there something happening with the magic on it too?

Well if I remember correctly these are the effects:
1. defence will be rerolled randomly from 279 to 364-470(wyrmhide)
2. strength requirements will rise accordingly from 43 to 84
3. level requirements will rise by a certain amount, can't remember what, probably 7 or less

Any magic properties stay unchanged, even a socket will stay, the only benefit gained will be the defence gain.

Its +5 for normal to exceptional,
+7 for exceptional to elite,
and +5, +7 for a total of +12 for normal to elite.

Only the base item changes its a wierd reroll but no affixes will change on the item, not even the random affixes like the 200-290 %ED would be rerolled.

There is a catch Etheral armors are currently bugged they lose the 50% ED from being etheral but still retain the etheral property so they would not be able to be repaired.

Sorry for posting here (kind of OT) but i just wanted to ask what realm are u playing on because i want to build the same dru u are working (allways liked dru summons) on and it would be nice if we could team up and kick some *** together ... :howdy:
