That's wierd... I have the flayer jungle connected to the spider forest nine times out of ten. I can't rememeber the last time I went to the great marsh. One more bit of evidence that supports the nagging suspision that we really aren't playing exactly the same game.
Same here. The three forest levels of Act 3 are really odd in that regard. Most of the time, for me anyway, the Spider Forest splits off in two directions at one point, usually where the river splits into two, and one way will lead to the Great Marsh, the other to the Flayer Jungle. It's that way on my Sorc's current map and it's happened to me dozens of times with other characters.
Never had the waypointless Glacial Trail, though - that's a new one on me.
I'd love to post something, but it'd need to be a moving shot rather than just a still picture, is when you shatter something that has been hit with Open Wounds. I noticed this in 1.09 when my Barb was wearing Iceblink and two Ripsaws. Most of the enemies would bleed from being hit with the Open Wounds, and their corpses would continue to spurt blood, but with Iceblink everything he killed would shatter, and yet the blood kept spurting literally out of thin air. Pretty amusing, actually.

One thing that has always puzzled me is the small rectangular island with a dead body on it that sometimes shows up in Kurast Sewers. You can´t teleport to the island (there is no "legal" room for you to stand there). You can loot the body with Telekinesis but you can´t pick up the items with it (unless it´s from the 'misc junk' TC (gold, potions, scrolls) or you are playing Classic).
 Wouldn't it be funny if you Telekinesised that corpse and something like a Windy popped out but you had no way to collect it? You'd just have to sit there and watch it go to waste?
Actually, I've seen a few of those same type areas that you mentioned, only with a couple of small chests on them instead of a corpse. Thing is, though, my Sorc
was able to teleport onto the little island. *shrugs*
