I've actually been around enough to notice that there hasn't been a daily today.

RL: Was kind of "on call" for the store, and ended up not being needed. The bad part: I don't have a cell phone, so I had to hang around the phone for certain times all day. The good part: I got to play lots of D2.

D2: Valencia (untwinked Meteorb) ran around the NM Kurasts a bit and found all sorts of l33t itamz, then decided to put on her anti-poison and MF gear and go run Andy a bit. She's rolled one of the best maps for that, ever. I was a little apprehensive, given my quest experience (died several times on p/8) but having found enough great equipment to have max poison res plus lots of MF with it, it was time. I dropped down to p/3 and it was a breeze. Did that a couple of times, then got bold and tried it at p/8. It was touch and go ... fed all my purples to my merc and he died with her at 1/4 life, and with my n00b tele skills I couldn't get away ... but I only stayed poisoned for moments, so I slammed her with meteors ... saved by the very last antidote with just a sliver in my bulb, and my wonderful poison-resist-plus-life-regen belt Charsi imbued for me saved the day.

I'm not very good at keeping track of what dropped (and it probably belongs in the item find thread anyway) ... I just go to Atma after exiting the game and sort it into the stashes ... but for me, every gold and green item is exciting, even if it's the same one that dropped yesterday. I've been finding things I've only read about. (Nothing super-wonderful in anyone else's eyes, I'm sure, as I've only just finished the Kurast sewers in NM so I'm not up to Meph yet.)

(Interestingly, my most-found is Cathan's Mesh. But I decided it was time to stop when Andy gave me that dreaded green breastplate.)

Just starting D2 again after a couple years, so, I'm gonna start working on something, not sure what though. Haha.

I know exactly how you feel about not keeping track of items. I got so tired of checking ATMA after every run to see if I had already gotten a specific item.

So eventually I made a Word document listing every unique and set item, with a little bubble next to each. Every time I pick up a new item, I check my list to see if I have it. If so, I sell it. If not, I fill in the little bubble. It's nice.

Hurry up and get to NM Mephisto! Stock up on those green breast plates!!

Hi ... seems odd to say, "Hi, noob!" hehe. Did your errors cease?

That's a good idea, making a list. I currently have a stash called "Valencia Sell" that I've dumped a few items into. When she gets to hell, she may need the cash. (Of course, if I find more than one of anything that doesn't seem like it's a common drop it will go into a giveaway. Wish I had something to add to the Christmas giveaway.)

I figure the next time I really have time to play, I'll reach Meph! I could have quested onward tonight, but I'm trying to make myself go to bed at a reasonable hour. (If I can't sleep, though, I'll be off collecting breastplates. Well, depending on the map. If it's a long way, I won't reroll it right away. I'll be asking Andy to please drop me ONE ring. I actually got my Nagelring from a Crusher (?) in the Canyon of the Magi.)

The error messages have indeed ceased. All I did was delete the "d2data.mpq" file and replace it. Then again, didn't you mention doing the same and still having no success?

It's a very odd bug. I wish Blizzard would pay attention to things like this instead of making the necromancer's skeletons more powerful.
