Heya' guys! Have ya'll been good little diablo addicts this year? ;)

Guess what- Santa Vega has decided that since he is totally burned out with the game at the moment, and since the only way he'll ever be back to this game is with a totally fresh start, it's time to give away his most sough after posession in the Sancutary realm- his shiny little zod :D

So, basically- the guy who gives me the absolute best reason for why he deserves the rune better than anybody else, takes the grand prize! :D

You have to be really convincing in order to make it, so give me all you've got, eh? ;)

LOL, the forum is full of questions about rune legitimacy and here you go and give one away... Real nice comeback there Vegameister :)

And no, I do not, I repeat, I do not want the zod from you...

edit: and to clear any confusion, I don't doubt Vega's legitimacy on this, that's not the reason I don't want the rune. Vega's the last person here I'd ever suspect of cheating.
 
Nice giveaway Vega :D I wish I hadn't of deleted my stash a while ago, or I'd be all over this. Now I don't really have much of a desire to play either :(

Because my fury wolf really could use a BoTD superior great pole axe and the only thing I need is a zod? :D

Oh wait, if you were gonna start up fresh, can I have your other stash if I don't get the zod? :lol:

And Borlag- I havent read the forums for the last month or so I have no idea on what's been going on lately.
You sure as hell know my zod is more than legit, as you traded me one of the Cham's that was upgraded into it.

This is the hugest giveaway I ever saw, great job! :thumbsup:

I have few really nice reasons to get the Zod: first, I'll make it in eth 1.07 Glorious Axe, to be completely unique!

And second: I'm really getting tired from the game, so some time really soon I'll quit, making enormous giveaway, I'll get rid of almost everything I have, including the BotD if I get the rune! so it's something like loaning it for a bit! ;) Now, I know that I probably won't get it because I'm too rich, but I'll give it a shot.

Because, given my luck and style of play, I will never, ever get an item that is Zod worthy. Therefore, it will sit in my stash until I give up on D2 and do something similar to this. And it shall become the eternal Zod, passed down from generation to generation - never used, only held onto and admired.
 
Uhmm..uhmm...uhmm...I need it for uhmm...uhmm...wait. I won't ever play a character using BotD and never use Ethereal items. I know! I need it so I can say I have a Zod and people can tar and feather me! :lol:


Seriously, great giveaway man =) Personally I have no use whatsoever for a Zod, other than trading material for other runes that I won't ever find myself either. Maybe give it to a newbie who'll put it in some 3 lvl 20 mod Ethereal rare? ;)
 
Check my 'Be on the lookout!' thread. I want to make an Etheral BotD Archon Staff. Once made, whether with this Zod or another, I'll be making a character designed for the weapon, as I always do after acquiring an extraordinary weapon (see: Windyzon after I found Windforce, a Grandfather-specific Barbarian, Natalya's Assassin), specifically designed to use said weapon, who won't be effective with anything else, or very little else. Gear, skills, etc. all centered around the weapon. Justice will be done to the rune. Bow down before the almighty Zod. :worship:

Or I could always throw it in an Etheral Buckler. Ph34r!

I have this melee necro that would live to make a BotD threshers... oh! :)

I really don't want it though, I've already received too much from you!
 
Vega - I would like the Zod rune, because I KNOW Blizzards next version, V1.11, will totally upset the apple cart. I want to be the first in line to use the new 1.11 cube formula where 3 Zod's will transmorgify into one ETH rune. The 1.11 ETH rune has the following mods:

ETH Rune
Version 1.11 Expansion
Armor: 100 % chance of attracting Girlfriend
Weapon: 100 % chance of casting Level 5 Jealousy on Party Members
Helm: -50% use of gold on Girlfriend
Shield: -50% chance of long term committment

Because I have a bet going with a buddy of mine. Whoever gets hold of the first legit zod, gets to pick one of the other guy's characters(including items) and keep it.

I would hate to lose my lvl 86 MeterOrb, because I have put a lot of time in here.

Besides I get to see the look on his face, when I present the zod. :thumbsup:

Well, of course I have numerous reasons why I want that, I could do awesome merc weapon with it or make new ultimate character with coolest weapon possible. Also my zealot would be very happy if he could get BotD zerker axe.

But don't give it to me, please. Im rich enough without it (grail -30 atm) and if I tell my brother that someone gave me Zod, he just would become mad and call me with rude names

Give it to someone who really would have use for it, maybe for someone just to make his/her first hell viable character ever

I hope fresh start will help you to ge addicted once again :thumbsup:
 
Last weekend my hard drive crashed resulting in me losing all my D2 information... characters, stashes, everything. I think it would be a good start on the road to D2 recovery :)
